Not taking decisions on time is the habit of our govt. Once INS Arihant was tested and commissioned into Navy means technology was in place, then why the govt took 8 years to approve the SSN in 2024. Same with Kalvari class submarine, when 4th or 5th submarine was under construction then only additional 3 submarine decisions should have been taken. We always wait for crisis to happen then only we go for decisions that too reluctantly as seen ordering only 2 submarines.
