Hola Negra, this is Felix Santiago , a Univ. of Santa Clara Law grad from the Bronx, NY. I was the 1987 - '89 Federal law librarian at MCCNY. They had a mixture of Medellin cartel Colombianos, Pizza Connection Italianos, and los Brooklyn Projects crack gang soul bros. That’s messed up! I remember going to high school in OC with this girl Cinnamon Brown who got convicted for murdering her stepmom. This was in the 80s. She got tried as an adult too but she remained in juvenile hall until she was 25 and then got released. They did a lifetime movie about her.

I’ve always thought to share my story and in return hope to inspire and show people especially the youth that even coming from a neighborhood,the lifestyle,and prison doesn’t mean we stay stuck in the negative aspects of our past lives. We as a people and community have grown and learned from past mistakes that today bring us into a whole new world to create successful lives and good examples. Indicted tv is another great example of that. I’ll forever be thankful to have the opportunity to share my story here
