(The most addressed points) First off, "they stole animations and songs"-now hold your horses. If you actually read the credits at the end, they gave proper acknowledgments. And if these animations were unused, why’s it such a big ol' fuss to use 'em in a fan-made mod? That’s modding 101, boy-expandin' on the original! Callin’ it "stealing" is like sayin’ you can’t make a playable Turn Bass without permission from Mike Geno, even if you give credit. Or sayin’ Mario Madness has to delete Day Out ‘cause it used audio from an animation. It ain’t "stealing" if it’s credited and transformed into somethin’ new for fans to enjoy. Now, "it’s just Indie Cross but with OCs and Among Us"-boy, I say, boy, you missin’ the forest for the trees. You conveniently ignore all the custom animations, covers, and remixes they poured into this. Why’s havin’ OCs such a crime? You ain’t complainin’ about Turmoil, GB, or Sarah Taylor poppin’ up in other mods. And don’t get me started on Among Us-it’s an indie game, fits the theme just fine. Stop cherry-pickin’ and actin’ like two songs not usin’ indie game characters ruins the whole pot. As for "it’s just Imposter V4", I say, boy, wrong again! This mod started before V4 even dropped, and last I checked, we can have more than one high-quality Among Us mod. The OCs weren’t just tossed in for no reason-they help branch out and keep it fresh, just like Indie Cross used Sans when plenty of other mods already did too. Now, "we waited two years for this"-good things take time, boy! You don’t know what went down behind the scenes. Maybe there were delays, hiccups, or other challenges. It’s a fan project, not a corporate-funded game. Sure, this mod’s got its rough edges-poorly coded mechanics and some awkward cutscenes-but y’all focusin' on the wrong things. These folks started makin' this when they were 14 or 15 years old, and the amount of effort they put in is downright impressive. Instead of nitpickin’, how ‘bout appreciatin’ what they managed to pull off?

This would’ve been really good if the needless self insert and among us stuff wasn’t added, seriously I don’t get what the ocs contribute to the mod outside of existing, they’re incredibly outta place. Edit: among us is an indie game so that point is void, however my other points still stand. another point I have is, why is there not more mechanics? You’d expect there to be more mechanics since it’s “indie cross+” but it actually has less (the bendy mechanic with the 2 things )

@@M1stful Now, I say, Step Right Up ain’t exactly a bastion of originality either, partner-it’s based on multiple horror games and creepypastas, just like Indie Cross and its focus on indie game characters. Both mods pull from existing media, so callin’ one more original than the other is a bit rich. As for the self-insert OCs, they’re just a part of the bonus content, not the main game. The primary focus is still on indie characters, with tons of remixes, covers, and updates for the original weeks. Sure, they threw in some unique flair with OCs, but it’s hardly the spotlight stealer you’re makin’ it out to be. Mods evolve by building on what’s there, and Plus did just that with extra content and creativity. Step Right Up ain’t immune to similar critiques if we’re bein’ fair, so maybe it’s time to quit cryin’ wolf and appreciate both for what they offer.

You claim that the Furry OCs are for "Bonus content" while maintaining the main aspect of indie games. SO WHY MOT JUST WORK ON MORE INDIE GAMES? Like why instead of making the indie game mod focused on indie games, did they add their furry self inserts? I can name 20 indie games that need a fnf mod and yet they chose AMONGUS AND THEIR OWN OCS as the new addition. You know... among us, the indie game with the most mods made about it. 2. The work they've put into this is quite lazy. Some cutscenes are quite literally the exact same as the OG but sped up with new music on it. That is the peak definition of lazy. Sure some of the Unique cutscenes where there but they didn't have anything thay indie cross didn't already have. All the "New songs" are either remixes, already exisiting songs or unused stuff made by the original team. bare minimum was to at least make 1 week of new songs for the original trio. But noooooooooo AMONGUS NEEDS ANOTHER SET OF SONGS LIKE THEY DONT ALREADY HAVE 100+ from Imposter V1-4, blacks betrayal, human edition and a few other mods. 3. This mod when you break it down to its core is literally "Indie cross but furries, amongus and a few unused songs" which is hella disappointing for the self proclaimed "Indie cross plus" Did these guys have a group meeting and go "How are we gonna top indie cross?" "New weeks?" "No" "New songs for the original guys?" "No" "Amogus and Furries" "God damn you're good, let's do that." It just made no sense at all. 4. Finally, the mod team was small and obviously they weren't getting payed. But there are people who've worked on more, on their own, with no payment and produced better quality stuff than this. It's buggy, lazy, reused 100% of the OG mod and added its own stupid ideas to it, and don't get me started on how badly they fumbled the nightmares. Cupheads Devil Gambit was honestly fire. So I was ready for the other 2 to also be extremely good... SANS NIGHTMARE SONG IS THE EXACT SAME AS BASE INDIE CROSS BUT NOW WE HAVE TERRIBLE CHROMATICS AND THATS IT. WOW THEY SURELY COOKED WITH THAT ONE. Let's see if they cooked with bendys song... (It was also equally cheeks) The fall of from cupheads fire remix to sans terrible chromatic straight to the sheer dissapointment to bendys. They fumbled the nightmares. And the Furry songs wouldn't be so hated but they aren't even good. Like the bendy Furry song sounds like a song from Hex and Vs Stickman has a love child. And it isn't good. I know I'm being harsh but you can't be a good game developer without actual criticism.

I'm not against covers but it just felt lazy to have them a part of a base plus week. I don't think I have to elaborate too much on covers feeling off though.
