I went a size up to a 14 because I have wide feet. They're still too narrow. No idea if they will stretch out or not but their back in the box for now.

@@WolfieBoostin20lbs yes, I have to stretch just about every standard "D" width boot Ive ever bought, the stretchers are boot and shoe savers , I have EE width feet

What size do you normally wear and what size did you order and wear for this review?

I typically wear a 10.5-11 depending on the shoe. Typically 10.5 in boots and 11 in vans. I ordered the 10.5 for this boot and the newer style and it has worked out well.

Thinking about picking up a pair of these for outdoor work. I need waterproof. Getting tired of gtx hiking shoes that leak water.

I’ve found them to be quite comfortable for motorcycling and they function well!

How long was the break in process until the leather got softer?

The toe box and heel are always going to feel a little stiff but the rest of the boot broke in quite quickly. The V4 that is out now is more comfortable and breaks in quicker

I don't know if you mentioned it or not maybe I missed it but did you 1/2 size up or did you get the exact size you usually get?

I have narrow feet and got the same size I typically get and that was the correct decision for me. I have narrow feet so I don’t typically size up when I hear that.

How thick are the soles ?

1/2” inch at the toe to about 1” at the heel. The soles are flat also.
