Dennis is one of the greatest bass players ever. He contributed hugely to the sound of those classic cooper albums 71 to 74.

Really Love the original ALICE COOPER group! Dennis is an amazing Bass Player & creative force!

Muscle is a really underrated record, I love it, and that's not blind loyalty, it's awesome.

I agree Stephen. Every track is so different. In my all-time top 10.

It’s Ok. I like Love It To Death best followed by Billion Dollar Babies. Muscle Of Love suffers as Glenn Buxton was barely on it if at all.

@flyingburritobro68 well, Rick Deringer played the solo.on.under my wheels, and My stars solos were not Buxton, nor NO more mister nice guy or billion dollar babies solos...

That's correct, my LP version of Muscle of Love here in Brazil didn't include the cardboard cover, but rather the "sailors' cover", and back cover....

I remember well picking the album up and wondering what the water stain was & looked to see if they all had it. couldn't wait to get home and open it . I had just turned 16

This new version has some really great sounds, especially the drums are much more powerful. Dennis is right - Bill Inglot (producer) could not find many different options, so we were allowed to make new mixes, stripped-down versions of the band before they added horns etc. It leans more toward the Love It To Death sound.

I had Muscle of Love as a cassette and it had the sailor photo. I had no idea about the cardboard packaging until years later.

My mom bought it for me, as I was a huge Alice fan. But she bought me an 8 track version, and I was crushed because I'd seen the cardboard lp version, and thought it was so cool. I didn't want to seem unappreciative, so I had to wait a few weeks until I could save up enough allowance money to buy the lp.

Hard to do a follow up to do a follow up album to “Billion Dollar Babies” - some great tracks on this album, but definitely didn’t all mesh. The “Greatest Hits” album that came out the following year summed it all up. You could tell that the band was cracking on this album. I think they needed a long break before recording but who knows. The Alice Cooper original band is one of the best in rock.

Always love to hear about the original Alice Cooper group...but I wish Dennis would have spoken more about the band instead of Liza Minnelli or Ronnie Spector...even though I know Glen wasn't involved in it...I would have liked to hear about the other guys during the sessions...I wonder if that Neal Smith song "Baby please don't stop" Is gonna be included on it .. Alice had some nasty things to say about that song in the book that Bob Green wrote "Billion dollar baby" ! 😂

Was just thinking the same thing- this guy (INDIEPOWER_TV) is horrible. WAAAY too many interruptions, redirections (let the artist speak and determine the direction of the interview!), and making it about himself. Never miss a good opportunity to stfu.

Sorry but I refuse to buy another version of the same album whether bonus tracks, alternative versions of tracks, alternate or never before released live versions, demos, outtakes, additional live cd included, redux, remix, remaster, etc. I refuse to be fleeced anymore!
