Wow where did time go. I remember buying Love It To Death on 8 track. Every song was great no fillers. I remember smoking joints listening to Black Juju on the back roads at night. At the time the band lived at the farm in Pontiac Michigan. My friends lived close to the band off Brown rd. They could hear them jamming. A few got to meet them. By the time I found out they lived there the band moved east. Killer was released soon after. Another great album I bought it as soon as it was on the shelf .Way cool cover colorful pure rock. The original Alice Cooper group was the best. Every album was awesome. I remember when the hit song Schools Out hit the airwaves It was instant hit . Great music memories for life .Dennis Dunaway was one of the best bass players on the planet. Halo Of Flies was him at his best. I thank all members of the band giving me great music in my youth. I still listen to them today.

My friends and I saw them in Minneapolis around 1973. Big indoor stadium. We were behind the stage as they came into the arena, walking as a group up a sloping tunnel. As they appeared beneath us (so exciting!) in the dim light we called out their names, reaching down to them. It was Glenn and Neal who reached up and touched our hands. The other three ignored us. Dennis and Neal were the nice guys in the band who appreciated the fans. It felt amazing at the time to actually touch the hands of Dennis Dunaway and Neal Smith. Neal was very tall and he could easily reach up to us.

I am in the middle of the audible of this book and it’s incredible…..such details. Thanks for having both Dennis and Cindy on your show. I haven’t gotten to the end of the book yet so I didn’t realize that they were still together and I think that’s awesome. The best part of the audible book is that Dennis narrates it himself. They were a great live band. Congrats!

Me and my friends went to see billion dollar babys at san diego sports arena. Only cooper show for.me What a blast. Festival seating. Started way in the back on the floor and ended way inl the front by the camera pit directly in front of the stage. Talk about MOSH. MY FRIENDS LEFT ME AT THE ARENA.so i stuck my thumb out and two girls and their DAD (get that) picked me up and gave me a ride to my house. They came in for a beer and theyre old man fired up a doob. We blazed it and said goodbye. Never so happy to be left behind. Good ass memory. And a kick ass show. Thanks coops! Ill never forget. And thanks to ROSS GERMANO. for the ride to the show....

If you remove all the songs and-- just as importantly-- the arrangements of all those songs with the original line-up Alice Cooper the solo artist would be an also-ran. Sure-- he had a few hits, but everyone comes to the show for pre-1976 songs. Dennis Dunaway's basslines on Billion Dollar Babies were clear, melodic, and creative.
