Can you use gesso instead of modeling paste? Thanks.

The gesso I used to prime the canvases was too liquid to create texture, so using it instead of modeling paste is not feasible unless you modify the gesso by adding something to thicken it.

Abstract art isn’t about replicating the world pixel by pixel. It’s intended to evoke emotions and prompt introspection, much like a Rorschach test. There's nothing wrong with you. The human brain naturally gravitates toward what it knows, which can make abstract art seem challenging or unfamiliar. Opening your mind to different styles might surprise you and enrich your artistic outlook.
