Went to movie theater after two years after the pandemic to watch this movie and was not disappointed. My partner is a big fan of Paul's film and was adamant about watching Licorice Pizza. We both loved it! You were great in the movie Alana. Now we are listening to you music.

Watched the film today in the UK. Did not know that the entire Haim family were in the film. Alana and Cooper superb in leads and with all support roles just as good. Would watch again and loved the soundtrack chosen.

I love PTA films and I really wanted to like this one but was disappointed. It's way too meandering (not in a good PTA way). Other than Alana, the character development was lacking. All the star cameos could have been cut out for more in depth character development from Gary and his family. ALL the Haim sisters did a good job in the film. The age difference thing may come from a personal experience from PTA but it did not make sense to a casual viewer as it was in my head the entire 2 plus hours. I'll give it another watch when it's streaming. Of course, as a PTA fan, I did enjoy looking at the film as a kid who grew up in SoCal during the 70s-80s.

It made utter sense. She’s going nowhere in her life and this teenager who has it all together offers some sort of glamour and focus. She finds that he’s one of the only genuine people who actually cares about her for her. The star cameos are there to show the different archetypes of men. It doesn’t meander it marinates. Fair play for not like it, that happens but I don’t get your reading of it at all.
