Features Of Indifference Curves:- 1. IC is always Convex to the origin and slopes downward due to "MARGINAL RATE OF SUBSTITUTION". Here, MRS= LOSS ON COMMODITY Y/GAIN ON COMMODITY X. 2. Right side Indifference Curves represent higher level of satisfaction 3. IC can never intersect with each other because of different levels of output at different IC's 4.BOTH ends of Ic can never touch any of the axes because IC is a comparison of 2 commodities. 5.ALL COMBINATION OF IC HAS SAME LEVEL OF SATISFACTION 6.
