Okay im absolutely in love with Rambley. One thing mascot horrors tend to forget is that the characters are usually made for children in the narrative so they have to be kind of realistically appealing. I think indigo park captures that perfectly. The 3D models arent scary looking but their ACTIONS are. Also rambley is just adorably charming. 10/10 i cant wait for chapter two.

FNAF at least has the excuse of "these creepy little shits were made in the late 70's early 80's and are ostensibly much cuter than Charles Entertainment Cheese was at the same time". FNAF very clevery set its character creation at a time when things meant to appeal to children and babies were naturally creepy af lmao. Why in god's name the Bigger Bodies Initiative in Poppy Playtime required giving them all sharp teeth however, is a mystery.

As I'm rewatching, I'll just say, I hope Rambley isn't a secret evil mastermind the whole time or anything. I love the idea that he's honestly got no idea what's happening either and is just a sad, confused and lonely AI with no idea what's happened to his home and friends (And Lloyd). Heck, gonna add, I honestly hope that after the game ends there's a DLC or something of you just working with Rambley to fix up the park that would be so great and sweet!

i notice when rambley is speaking normally he's animated really rigidly, but when he's speaking out of character his body moves really fluidly, you can see this when he changes directions: 3:25, or after he kills the bird

He's got at least 3 "modes"--the cartoon character Rambley, who thinks of his cartoon friends and their adventures as real, the ride actor Rambley who is mostly following park scripts (but occasionally breaks character to sass Lloyd), and AI park assistant Rambley, who actually understands what's going on and is trying desperately to keep it together. Park-assistant Rambley is the most "alive" of them, and his animations are most fluid and natural in that mode. A lot of his glitches seem to happen when he's switching between modes. He also glitches when trying to say things the company tried to prevent him from saying--he drops into voder voice to say "free", and when he tries to say "angry", he glitches until he's forced to change it to "upset".

After a few seconds of black screen a disturbing sketch of a bloodied Mollie game over screen fades in. 42:18 - moderate - Sean goes down the first pipe, but runs straight into Mollie down the second pipe. 44:28 - gore - Mollie gets decapitated by the door slamming shut. I immediately loved this because of how adorable Rambley is! And flash back to when fast food places had ALL those colorful kiddie play areas, it was like I was transported back in time for a bit. Definitely at least in my opinion is pretty up there if not better than Poppy Playtime. ❤

Ok I love the way the game is going so far. I love Rambley he has a lot more personality than I would've thought, I love the way the park is falling apart and actually looks like it was designed for families rather than just being designed to be scary or mysterious, I love the way that Rambley is actually trying (it seems at least) to give your character a fun experience at the park and not only saved you from one of the mascots he considered his friend but gave up the bit that everything is "normal" and instead acknowledged that the park was messed up, and I love that ending the singing and DAMNIT RAMBLEY!! WHYYOUGOTTATUGONMYHEARTSTRINGSLIKETHAT!!!???? But there's no way Rambley isn't at least a little bit corrupted. Whether that means he's knowingly lying or not remains to be seen but... I hope he isn't. And I hope that it's not going to pull a Poppy Playtime and each chapter "boss" is going to die in the end. I want to save SOME of them damnit! They aren't evil it looks like they were just abandoned and driven insane because of it. But that doesn't mean some can't be saved. They are alive too after all.
