Indigo park is one of my favorite mascot horror games i have played with my friends, you can really tell that its a passion project with how the game was made, the game came out on my birthday and i was so happy since i was keeping an eye on the game since UniqueGeese announced it on his channel, I'm glad i got to play it with Kiri and Eth watching it was so much fun and i cant wait for part2 of Indigo park, I want to thank our wonderful editor @MasterEth for editing and uploading these videos he is amazing and im glad that him and Kiri are my partners on this channel, i hope everyone who watches our videos can laugh and smile and join us on our journey through games new and old and enjoy our commentary, also thank you Eth and Kiri for being my friends i hope we go far on this channel and make more amazing videos.

Indigo Park really out here making you come into it thinkin' it's just gonna be a mid/semi-fun game, but pretty much grabs your heart strings halfway in and tugs *hard* on them when the Rambley review song starts.

Indigo Park is just such a chaming game and think it has so much potential!!! Y'all know how you guys referenced BanBan a few times cause some parts reminded y'all of that. That's actually cause Mason was actually the guy to remake BanBan chapter 1 in a week. Which is how a few people (including me) first heard about Mason. Not long after, he actually announced Indigo Park, and I knew this was gonna be a great project and would have great potential. And when I learned that the other head writers and I guess directors in a way were RecD, (known for his Undertale, Deltarune, Pizza Tower, and FNF with Lyrics videos), and Jakeneutron (known for fan songs such as Don't Listen, /Hug Me, his FNF mods (especially the Pibby ones like Dusk Till Dawn or Rabbit's Glitch), and a lot of other things)... ooooh, I knew I was in for something great. Those three led the Indigo Park team well for sure. And considering RecD and Jake both also had a lot of involvement in the music too... you could kinda tell in the best way. Hell, Rambley Review kinda reminds me of one of RecD's outro song he has at the end of his videos with Jake's instrumental mix style. I highly recommend just checking out Teamneutron (Jake's animation team for his channel as well as this), RecD, Mason, and everyone else's work!!! Cause everyone's work just shines here.

I love this game so much. I need to know if any of my theories pan out. I'm a guy who paused and looked at dates to get a timeline and who made notes about colored pipes. XP anyway can't wait for more. I need to know what Lloyd and Rambley have against each other. I don't think Rambley considers the mascots to be his friends, which to me says that there's AI versions of all 5 as well as probably mascot versions of all 5. I don't know why I'm rambling on about random stuff in that game, i kinda meant for all this to be ... less long.

i really love Indigo Park IN CONCEPT as of the free Test Chapter 1. Rambley Raccoon is pretty much carrying the game right now and it shows if you do a deeper look into it. Now I understand that the developer is a first time dev and they did this MOSTLY by themselves and they made it free. Amazing work for a first time developer. HOWEVER i do have some constructive criticism. As of now the game is very Copy and Paste assets with very few original 3D builds, however the more unique builds are clearly well done especially when it comes to the art direction and the mascots themselves. However the parks build is very generic but that could be a commentary on Local or state Parks. I do believe the dev once he can hire more team members and gets more experience will touch up the first chapter and redo a lot of the look, potential cutscenes and gameplay. Speaking of Gameplay, right now this game is more of a walking Puzzle simulator with light Horror aspects. If the dev wants to separate themselves from Ban Ban and FNAF they need to come up with a unique theme park gimmick involving the Critter Cuff, i suggest looking at theme parks that use this tech currently for inspiration. Like mini games or interactions with Rambley. Here is the BIG ONE, the main character himself i deem ED. Silent Protagonists are OK but I need MORE! Why doesn't Ed speak? Is he mute? Incredibly shy? I need more then just relying on player character pretending to emote. So overall my criticism is mostly things that will most likely be worked on in the coming months/years they will be working on this. Indigo Park clearly has passion behind it since the Animator and Voice actor behind Rambley CLEARLY did an amazing job to make him charming as hell. I just hope the same amount of passion can be used to develop the rest of the game.

Yes Rambley carries the game, but that's what makes it so great. You could argue the same of portal which ik was a game that inspired this one. It is also a walking simulator with slight horror. Also, slight spoiler for chapter one, but there is a reveal that totally makes the game vastly more impactful: The animals are real, not robots. So the death scene is actually quite shocking, and the horror in this game is more subtly then in your face which personally, I think makes it more impactful, and I'm excited to see where chapter 2 takes us, as long as they do different things I think they will do a good job.

@@RedEthKiriGaming Portal is one of my favorite games too, i love games that present you with ideas and lore that make the game more horrific without showing too much. Minimal games done right, which is clearly one of the inspirations for this game. I just hope the developer can find his own path by taking inspiration but still making Indigo Park it's own unique experience. Rambley is shaping up to be one of my favorite AI characters along side GlaDos and Glamrock Freddy. I also love how AI Rambley is a bit of a mystery as we wonder if Rambley has a grudge with Lloyd in lore or if the AI just doesn't like him XD

The game is alright at best, I certainly wouldn't call it the best mascot horror game. Because it clearly isn't. Indigo Park has a lot of potential, but for now really if you remove the Soundtrack & Rambley what you got is the average bland walking simulator just like the other games in the genre. Now yes I can see that a lot of passion and effort was put into this project, but I really feel like 90% of it was spent on making Rambley literally the best and most lovable character in Mascot Horror history and the OST. Doesn't mean I'm absolutely not hyped for Chapter 2, though! Because I really am and can't wait to see how much will the game improve if UniqueGeese will take note of what Chapter 1 massively failed at, mainly being the big lack of horror as well as the huge lack of gameplay.

I don't think you have to worry too much! In a livestream after the game launched (I believe reacting to some playthroughs), UniqueGeese admitted himself Chapter One is a walking sim with limited gameplay and horror, saying that he considers it the pitch document for the series. Starting with Chapter Two, he wants to really start branching out both, especially now he has an actual budget

Calling it the "Best Mascot Horror Game" is not saying much considering how low the bar is. The game isn't scary, the flashlight sucks because you can barely see anything with it, the concept is stupid an unoriginal, the only unique part is that it's set in a theme park. It's just the most generic slop ever. There's no gameplay and the puzzles don't fit into the environment at all. Tell me how a child in a play place would need to solve a puzzle about rotating blocks to access a door. I don't think it's a bad game but it wouldn't get any praise and would be way less popular if the graphics looked any worse and there wasn't gore. Presentation matters, this has no gameplay it's a walking simulator.

I think the ORIGINAL (Not the new slop) FNAF games are better, it's probably nostalgia bias though I'd say best in recent times, way better than banban, poppy's playtime and security breach but that's a really low bar

@@name-h7x its just our opinion Fnaf is great but most of the time in fnaf your in an office thats kinda it this game has more to it then fnaf 1-4 did so i think indigo park has the capability to pass Fnaf but that is my opinion
