jocriss lol I don't need an argument to show that 50 on 30-40 shots is asinine. Do you expect that to happen?
@kefkapalazzo17 жыл бұрын
jocriss but since you insist, there was a game last year where kawhi went 4 for 8 in the last 16 or so minutes of the game. He was efficient but he was tentative and didn't make any impact plays. If he'd gone 5-12 ( which isn't even all that bad) being more aggressive, I'm sure he would've won. Context matters.
@kefkapalazzo17 жыл бұрын
jocriss also last year in the playoffs. If lilliard and McCollum don't take every damn shot they have the trailblazers don't even get close to winning a single game. I'm not saying efficiency shouldn't be what you strive for, but it's not the end all be all and basketball isn't completely quantifiable

I love Kobe he doesn't care about what people say about him. Jordan respects him and he respects Jordan. Michael passed the torch to Kobe for a reason, he saw that he has the fire and willingness of a champion. He saw himself in Kobe and of course he gave him advice that's what veterans do, help out the youngsters so they can succeed. Look what Kobe has done 5 rings and 7 finals appearances yet no one respects him because he's not Jordan. He's Kobe Bryant the 2nd best player in NBA history and his career is ending soon. No one gave Michael shit when he retired and came back in the late 90's. Yet people give Kobe shit for playing so long and so many minutes and all this bs. Imagine how hard it is just to win one NBA title, imagine how hard it is to be a contender in the strong western conference almost every year. Kobe has played in the western conference his whole career and it never got easier. When Dwight came to LA Kobe gave him a try out to see what he gots and he ended up being mentally soft, key word mentally. Kobe holds himself and his teammates to the highest of expectations and beyond because it's the Lakers organization for crying out loud. You can't be soft or afraid to embrace yourself as a laker, Kobe took that challenge from day one and now he's arguably the best laker to ever wear the purple and gold. This guy doesn't get the respect he deserves because of Jordan SHOE lovers not real Jordan fans, and because people are all caught up on Lebron. Take a minute and just think, 19 going onto 20 years in this league and he's a guard. Played in the late 90's with Jordan, won 5 championships, and he has done it all In the western conference his entire career.

This honestly makes me tear up. I grew up watching Kobe since I was a little boy and now hes finally got. I wish I went to his games instead of watching them from the TV. All those crazy moments can't be relived and can only be watched on youtube. Lebron might be the "best" player in the nba right now but you guys underrate kobe vs lebron. Lebron's skills isn't close to Kobe's actual SKILLS. Lebron was born with the body that helps get most of his points in the paint, but you will NEVER see anything as beautiful as Kobe's footwork that lets him do whatever he wanted on the court, & his flawless shooting form. Haters can say whatever they want, but Kobe was really fun to watch because he was so different from everyone else.

Lebron Haters: Don't go to Lebron videos because they are boring with mostly fast break regular dunks and him overpowering smaller players. Kobe Haters: All come watch Kobe's impossible 3's, 360º facials, dunks on 7fters, circus shots and marvelous foot work. And then they complain that he doesn't pass (averages 5 assists) and that he takes to many shots (who cares). Pathetic Haters.
@briansupreme41569 жыл бұрын
well the people that care about him taking too many shots are the ones who would like to see lakers win.Just a funny fact kobe has made the lakers almost below average in scoring with 24 sec left in the game while down by two or less or tied why i say he has made them so bad is because he runs their plays pretty much never passes and so often misses and its weird that people think hes the most clutch player ever when while he has been on the court during crunch time lakers have been outscored.its not about being fancy its about being effective and kobe just hasnt ever been able to be effective

Brian Supreme You are talking about 36 years old Kobe after 2 severe injuries.
@briansupreme41569 жыл бұрын
GabKoost yes and thats the most horrible part if he doesnt start team playing now he will never start it.well kobe is an amazing player both with little bit of more knowledge he could be so much more
@gabkoost9 жыл бұрын
Brian Supreme He needs a team to be a team player. I saw the warriors game. Boozer, Hill, Lin and Johnson missed a BUNCH of open looks while the Warriors were knocking down 23's- Kobe say then FUCK IT and went at it by himself. He had 44pts in 44.1% shooting which is acceptable, The rest of the team was 27% from the floor so please let's not pretend the scrubs that are around him are not responsible for their own display! Last night Kobe tried to get them involves like he ALWAYS do at the beginning and they showed up. Boozer scored open jumpers, Lin was aggressive, Hill got a lot of work done and Swaggy came up strong. Kobe always do the same. If the teammates correspond he will be a team player. If they don't, he will do it all by himself. Now the teammates he has onyl show up 1 every 5 games. Meanwhile people expect him to share the ball when no one can get anything done. You must be crazy. Kobe rather take 40 bad shots than ive the ball to Wesley Johnson who has been hitting only but rim for the all game. Give Kobe a good team an you will see that at this stage of his career he will be more than willing to find the best options and still be clutch like he was yesterday.
@briansupreme41569 жыл бұрын
GabKoost i agree that with a better team he would have more success and also i have seen him sharing the ball and if hes season average would be 44.1 % i wouldnt care how many shots he takes but its way below that and you cant only blaime kobe for that but atleast those contested threes got to go personally the only lakers that i have been happy with are lin and kobe but knowing what kobe can even still do makes me want much more from him. Then about Kobe being clutch i strongly disagree hes NBA average in clutch in allmost every statistic best in the league melo and CP3 from active players and especially the fact that in i dont remember was it last 10 years or kobes hole carrier he has passed during the last 24 sec of the game when losing by 2 or less or tied only once which is pretty crazy cos everyone knows kobe is going to take the shot that way the shots he gets are super hard also phil jackson has said that he had hard time dealing with kobes self-centered game style.kobe has crazy amount of game winners but all the attemps he have failed are even more crazier

this is the mentality that separates lebron from kobe and jordan, the never say die attitude. lebron will go to the bench early in 4th quarter and even the whole 4th quarter if he thinks its impossible to win or his team is struggling, jordan and kobe will kept playing and carry their team win or lose. so stop telling lebron is the goat. he is not and will never be.

No disrespect to GOATs MJ/J.West but Kobe is the clutches nba player in nba history

Just so you know stat's wise kobe is not clutch dont believe me look it up tough to say but stats wise LeBron is more clutcher than kobe.
@rockmorales9 жыл бұрын
John Smith You keep saying all this shit against Kobe. LeBron is more clutch? Guys record is really 1-5 in nba fi als if it wasn't for ray allen.
@kentaromiurafanaccount57279 жыл бұрын
Trunks Emm I like and respect kobe, im just stating the facts.stat's wise lebron IS more clutcher than kobe , quite frankly I find that hard to believe cause I myself doubt LeBron's clutchness but as they say stats dont lie, also what does LeBron's finals record have to do with any of this?

Lol this aren't even scratching the surface, he has a couple left handed 3s some crazy game winner and overtime 3s. Back in that 06 season he had crazy range, he didn't even show his game winner vs the Kings from 2011. Kobe was barely in bounce.

@jubfat10 жыл бұрын
you act like their isn't a debate to be made. kobe's offensive arsenal easily triumphs lebron's by far. lebron is the better playmaker. the more efficient player. while kobe is the more dynamic scorer who can score in virtually any situation. lebron is better at controlling the pace of a game while kobe is the better closer. kobe has much better footwork while lebron is much stronger. kobe has more competitive fire but lebron night in and night out produces the better statline overall. and lebron usually come through for his team in the clutch minus that 2011 dallas series. and kobe did not show up against the pistons in 04. very debatable topic nonetheless.

People say that Kobe isn't that great because it took him longer to score more points than Jordan. But to do that he would have to be more of a ball hog. But then people would hate him for that

You have a good point. Kobe is my favorite player of all time, but god damn he's selfish.
@PaweLBeatz10 жыл бұрын
There's no other player that has made as many difficult shots as Kobe has.
@JaysonT97510 жыл бұрын
Da Diah selfish? You're clearly not a fan, just someone who wanted likes if you say he's selfish. One, he averages like 5-6 assists per game. Two, his job is to shoot the ball. That's what he get's paid for. If the Lakers wanted a superstar point guard they would have gotten one and traded Kobe.
@Gruesome_j10 жыл бұрын
Well no not necessarily, Kobe like any other "elite" player has his share of missed crunch time shots, I'd say a cool 30 or so. Only difference between every other player and Kobe is that Kobe made them where it counts, winning him 5 rings. Hes the best and Mj is sitting on the throne.
@spongebobhank472810 жыл бұрын
Man, oh man, I really miss Kobe "Black Mamba" Bryant! I mean, I know he's a ball hogger and all but really, that aggressiveness he's always bringing to the game, creating the clutchest moments of the game, that intensity, whenever I see that play style along with his seriousness, I see an image of Michael Jordan. It's almost as if Kobe is bringing the past legend to the present as a different image. Man, I may sound crazy and I probably don't make sense anymore but literally, I do miss him. Feeeels lol.
