I hate to say this but half of the "security" were Taliban. The Taliban are heavily embedded in the ANA,ANP, and other small militias around Afghanistan. The only real way for outsiders to travel safely in Afghanistan is by traveling around with NATO forces, there are all kinds of problems that brings as well also! The guy with full beard and the PKM who was in the Afghan national police uniform was most likely a member of the Taliban! ( The Taliban run Afghanistan the president of Afghanistan has high ranking family members in the Taliban, that says everything)

As an Islamic society, it is illegal for an Afghani person to leave Islam. The country is increasingly challenged by Islamic militants, the Taliban controls or contests more and more areas, and an ISIS-affiliated group also targets minorities. Those who decide to follow Jesus do so in secret. How Christians are suffering Those who are discovered to be Christians may be sent to a mental hospital-because their families believe no sane person would leave Islam. They may also be beaten or even killed by family members, or members of Islamic extremist groups like the Taliban. Violence against Christians remains very high, but the measures taken against converts depends on the family. One Christian in Afghanistan says, “How we survive daily, only God knows. @Running lion You don't just run around the streets of Afghanistan handing out cash, that's just not how it works, nor does it solve their problems which are much more complex than you suggest. These people require love and overwhelming compassion, both powered by courage and strength, in order to vanquish the hatred and division like the kind you displayed. If these videos didn't open your eyes and reveal the message of love and solution to conflict than you just have too much hatred. Hatred is easy but love is hard for some people. Think about it, he put his life on the line to broadcast to the world *REAL LIFE* people living in Afghanistan. In return, you respond to the Soul touching images by berating him for not passing out cash. *IN THE VIDEO* the man says the message, the one at the end of the video where he says if one doesn't have enough, the community comes together and helps so that the community thrives together, because morale and keeping the extended family strong is very important to those who have almost nothing *BUT THEIR FAMILY* . This should be a much more popular philosophy for the world and people like you who seem to disregard it and spit on your fellow humans efforts in a false claim of compassion. Compassion isn't aggressive or insulting, its coming together and communicating with respect, kindness & love. Some people might not ever understand that message, who either lack empathy and/or understanding with an abundance of pride and egotism, but you sure shouldn't damn yourself and all those around you because they didn't do as you demanded. Those people must have more depth to their thinking, or they will succumb to the dark combo of hatred and pride. And the people in this video have infinitely more love and understanding than someone who has the privilege of going online and berating a fellow human being while living in safety and security. Indigo Traveler is genuinely showing the world how these people live and struggle, so that we can understand and connect with them far beyond the kind of images and divisiveness we have in the media. The msm and people like you are constantly turning people against each other, while ppl like the Indigo Traveler try to show us the truth, as the people in the video try to teach us all that we should come together and thrive because we all want the same thing and we all bleed the same red blood. Bless you *INDIGO TRAVELER* With love and cheers, I thank you for spreading awareness and allowing me to witness what these people are going through by the hundreds of thousands if not millions. Pretty much the only people who profit from war those who work in the military industry, but there are many other industries in the United States and basically they have to cover the costs through taxes (along with ordinary citizens). Both sides have tried to seek way out of the conflict for years, but because neither side has been willing to make compromises the war has dragged on for almost two decades.

@@mariamahady3681 Bless your sweet heart 💖 Please know, that there are Americans that cry for you and your people, and hate what our government has done or been involved in to cause suffering in Afghanistan and other nations in the Middle East. My dearest wish is for peace and abundance in your country!! ♥️ I don't believe most of what our media tells us here in the USA, and I'm so thankful for @Indigo Traveller and his videos to show the beauty and humanity of these war torn countries, we most definitely would not know this information without him. I had Been thinking a lot about my homeland , I’ve never been there yet I wished to see and live there recently a lot more than before. These videos have been a great insight , thank you so much for them and for all that you do. And thank you to all the kind words I have seen in the comment section. It really brings tears to my eyes. Living in the west hasn’t been easy for me, I was raised one way by my culture and family and saw a different one outside my house. It’s like I’ve had many identities. Yet seeing videos like these and pictures of the beautiful children I can understand. Many hardships that my people go through. And I can only imagine living everyday in constant fear of being bombed. It’s really weird how I think that feeling is somehow wired within me. Ever since I can remember I was afraid to be killed even here, even though I’ve never experienced such an environment , like they have experienced there. I guess it’s because growing up in the west afghanistan was always the center of attention in media, and I was always afraid to tell people where I was from. For many reasons. Now that I’m close to thirty, I have no shame in telling others that I’m Afghan or Muslim or any of that. And I know better now where my resilient heart comes from, I can’t say I’m strong because I do have many weak points. But I get by. Thank You God.

Such a remarkable and beautiful place. That’s what’s always gotten me emotional about Afghanistan: had it’s history been different, it could’ve been a huge outdoor resort location- it’s so rich in beauty and resources. I guess that’s also why war came to that region. People wanting the locations and resources for power. As it is, I’m proud of the regular everyday people for their survival, their resilience, and their commitment to wanting peace. I hope peace will stay. 💜

Hi Nasir, I'm in Australia and the media always makes Afghanistan look bad. This also unfairly reflects on the people. The more the truth comes out from the people themselves the better. I live in a place where there are many people from Afghanistan have immigrated to and they are great people. You will find not all but many people in the west will never trust people who are from Islamic countries. They think all Muslims are the same and don't understand in the internal struggles. They are starting to learn not all are the same. Peace, Mark.

Vittorio Piaser what did the Italians have to say about the locals? I am an Afghan just wondering.
@vittoriopiaser92334 жыл бұрын
Clemont Ludovic I’m just telling you what I heard. Italian veterans said Afghans are hospitable, humble and that it’s just so sad and pitiful to see how Afghanistan has been thorn apart from war. about the negatives, they said they think Afghan attitude towards women is very laid back and that women are confined in their homes, treated as inferior to men and obligated to wear burqas or similar if they go out of their homes, also that they enjoy very little personal freedom if compared to Italy and the West. They also said that locals were not trusting them very much at the beginning, but then it got a bit better. Now I don’t know is this is all true, I’m trying to figure it out thanks to Nick and Drew Binsky’s videos, this is just what I heard from Italian veterans.

Amazing video, man! You really have balls! And I found it interesting how it was okay for you not to accept that piece of fish. It felt weird to me cause in my culture, if you're offered food like that, it's rude not to take it, or if you can't eat it for any reason, you apologize or explain why you can't eat it. I'm not saying you did something wrong or that that's how things are in Afghanistan too. I just found it interesting how one situation can make people feel different things depending on their culture. Peace and love from Argentina!
