For Punjab bound travelers, it's best to fly directly into Amritsar or Chandigarh. I don't know how much of an international airport is Chandigarh, but there are domestic flights to Chandigarh from gateway airports. Saves the ordeal of a bus ride from Delhi.

Yes, Chandigarh has only domestic flights for now. But they are working on it. Or I guess just take another flight from Delhi to Chandigarh. Or from Amritsar to Chandigarh.

It's better to connect with some Cab drivers in Panjab (who do regular pickup/drop off at Delhi airport) You can get a cab from Delhi for 50% off as it's better for them as well instead of coming back to Panjab without any passengers. They(drivers have their own Whatsapp groups) so after a drop off at IGI Delhi they just hang around for few hours to see if there is any pick up

How much was the cab home?

I think I as around 12,000 or something. Also, it was not really about money. We didn’t even found any cabs for Chandigarh. Whoever wee found acted weird, so we were thinking about our safety too. We were skeptical also because few weeks ago one our relatives got robbed by a cab driver n all. So Yeahh.. but yeah thank you I appreciate you comment.

I have never taken Indo Canadian Bus I find Shatabdi Executive class the best option(Has more room for luggage than CC.. fastest and most comfortable) But do not eat or drink anything they serve in the train!

Indo -Canadian staff is not good, I had same experience on Dec. 29-2023 from Delhi to Chandigarh, conductor was rude, WIFI was not working in the bus, on my request conductor lied, the WIFI will work after one hour from airport but it did not work and i could not connect to my contacts

Punjab Govt Ne bhi Buses chalai hain.Aap 3 number se bahar aae ho vahan 10 number se bus milti hai.Pata kar lena.
