@@Nach956 brater and frater have b/F sound changes. Its normal. Hermano/ brothermano. Spanish lost bro in time.

@@rojanaryan3230 Yep. B, F & P are the same to me. In the end they remain labial sounds. Not a big change when analizing cognates. I think they should have been in your list. Not "Hermano" though, that one doesn't really evolve from frater/broder, it comes from "Germanus", weirdly similar to how we call "germanics" in spanish.

Have to disagree with Sanskrit being the ancestor of other Indian languages like Hindustani. These other Indian languages deacended from Prakrit. Prakrit and Vedic(Sanskrit) are noted as Sister languages by some scholars. Prakrit even preserves certain features that have been lost in Vedic.

I think the Berber, Songhay and Basque languages are related to the Indo-European languages a common origin between the Berber, Songhay and Basque languages But the dialect of ancient Greek (Sparta) is very similar to the Basque language, as indicated by some linguists This means that the Greek language is related to the Basque, Berber and Songhay languages
