1:07 Those are not Raspberry, those are Rasbhari 🤣 (it is a Hindi word), it is funny let me explain. "Ras" in Hindi means juice, and "bhari" means "filled with", as that fruit is filled with a lot of juice it is called in Hindi as Ras-bhari. But as that Hindi name was very similar to English name Raspberry, some ignorant people have started calling them Raspberry, which is totally incorrect. Raspberry is a different fruit, these are "Rasbhari"😅😂!! You can try them, they have a very short season, they are quite good and you might not get them outside India!

😂 That makes a lot of sense! I believe they're called Gooseberries in English. I like how you explained it though 😀
@vipulgupta10 ай бұрын
@@teejayshines5147 😄 you can search for "Rasbhari fruit" and you would get the English name. Yes 👍🏽, as someone already mentioned in reply to my comment, its full name is Cape Gooseberries or Golden Gooseberries.

If you want to buy red chilli...buy Kashmiri Red chilli packet. It comes as powder form too, in box or packets. Its less spicy but gives Amazing colour to the food. Spicy red chilli powder will also be available, in spice section...not vegetables. Green chillis are extremely spicy in India, unlike Korea.

@@saewha She lives in North India (Delhi) tho. We have alllll the knowledge about Indian spices or chillies. It's just that we DON'T NEED those chillis in our food ✌️
@gjoshi919 ай бұрын
@saewha you could have pointed something out more politely. What is this that north Indians don't have knowledge about it. Anyone from any demographic can have knowledge about anything. Please broaden your mindset.
@gjoshi919 ай бұрын
Also NorthIndia is not just Delhi UP. Rajasthan , Punjab , JK and hilly states of Himachal and UK also come in North India. If you have not tried their food it does not mean it is not spicy. It is just like saying that South Indians only eat Dosa Idli Sambhar. So please be more respectful towards fellow Indians. And gain some knowledge before showing off.

It's cold right. You need to have Shangar Kahwa. It's great to have in winter. Shangar is licorice mulathi. Take 3 cup water add 2 green cardamom, 1 cinnamon small, 1 clove, 1 pinch of Kahwa tea leaves if not green tea leaves also do, 1 stick of licorice. Boil and reduce it to 2 cup. Strain and have a cup. Enjoy with honey. Never sugar. It's what we have in Kashmir during winters. Try it.

@saewhaNorth Indian this, North Indian that!!! You have limited knowledge and spreading misinformation. In Delhi, I can purchase whole dried red chilli to make powder. I also purchase whole fresh red chilli to make bharwa mirch pickle. Just to name few what North India has, search for Mathania mirch. Also, if she does not find red chilli at one place in Delhi, how can you say that the whole North India (8 or 9 states) don't have red chillies at all? Since when Delhi became equivalent to whole North India. We don't have limited knowledge for spices, you just have little information.
