that is apparently true...but if u go 2 malls like this it's very rare...just don't go to the cheaper looking areas....unless if u know what 2 do and have adapted to it...Its actually a really good place 2 be in...and EX is one of my faves!!!!

Indonesian malls have those stuff Mall Asia in Manila has, but they are spreaded around.. Probably the intention is to make people to explore all parts of Jakarta, not only one.. Mall Taman Anggrek is not in the center of Jakarta, and it has a place for you to ice skate.. The Beverly Hills of Jakarta is Pondok Indah, the mall is amazing and they have a swimming pool too (They have the old Pondok Indah Mall and the newer one).. So, you just have to explore Jakarta to find those stuff.. :-)

And Pondok Indah Mall is in fact located in the outskirts of Jakarta... Jakarta is turning so cool.. I was amazed when I was looking at youtube for Jakarta.. :-) Netherlands has all old buildings.. ^^ Jakarta is more of a metropolitan city.. What I hate from Jakarta is when they got rid of the tram transportation.. They used to have it around the 1950s, but the government got rid of it.. Because they think it symbolizes the OLD Indonesia -_-; Now they're making a new one.. :p

I like most of the Malls in Jakarta... mangga dua... home of the cheap DVD. and Plaza Indonesia home of the 5 grand Vertu cellphone

no I havent...I might have went there the mall that I do remember are Taman Angrek ..the wedding will take place at the Ritz Carlton

You live in Holland? Thats so cool! I live in Holland too.. ^^ And Im Indonesian.. I know! Come on! Binnenhof closes at about 7 in the evening! Even small malls in Jakarta opens until 10.. The movies are open until 1 even.. ^^ The thing I hate about Netherlands is also the malls... They suck (No offense)

What kampungan??? I live in Sydney and not one shopping centre, let me repeat, not even ONE of them matches the luxury and grandeur of malls in Jakarta. I've been to many places, and I'd say malls in Jakarta can match malls like Siam Paragon (Bangkok, Thailand), West Edmonton mall (Canada), Takashimaya Times Square (Tokyo, Japan), or even Mall of the Emirates (Dubai)! Have you been to Grand Indonesia, Senayan City or Pacific Place?
