I'm a little bit late to this video, but here's a food for thought. Sorry this text might be a little long. Proceed only if you are really interested in mythologies across the planet. :) We already know how Greek and Roman mythologies are similar because of the fact that it was actually loosely mentioned that Zeus, Hera, Athena, etc, took "refuge" with Romans under different names like Jupiter, Juno, Minerva, etc due to some event that happened. Similarly, we know Egyptian Mythology also has a connection to Greek because of Serapis, a god who is common to both mythologies. Norse mythology states the Bifrost as a way to travel different "realms" (basically far off places incomprehensible by man at that time). It also has a certain connection with Jotuns being similar in characteristics to Greek/Roman Gods because of larger builds and bigger appetite (Mediterranean diets and structure), etc. Same goes for Sumerian, Japanese and many other pantheon of gods who are very similar in the sense that every person has had different characteristics, goals, flaws as well as powers. Indian mythology is a part of all those pantheons as well which may very well be the last living religion with a pantheon of gods. What if these mythologies were just an "ancient civilization" that got wiped out during the "Ragnarok" (Norse) or the end of "Dwapar Yug" (Indian)? Or maybe something like a flood or so called The Deluge or the Genesis, Pralaya (Indian), Gun-Yu (Chinese), Pyrrha (Greek) or Bergelmir (Norse)? Maybe we'll never know. D: Sorry for a long rant, but these are confusing times. XD

Actually. There are few things to point out. The trinity in the itihasa and the trinity in Greek mythology are extremely different. The role that each of these gods perform are not at all similar.
