what does your friend use for potting soil? my citrus roots are always rotting inside for the winter 😠

Sorry to hear, I think he just uses those potting soil from Home Depot, sole of them he mixed with composts as well. Was the root rotted due to over watering ? In my case I used garden soil and mixed with clay soil for my potting never have root rots issue.

@@ItsJustGardening yeah, I am careful with water but pretty much the mix doesn't dry out fast enough when the plants are inside

My friend bring his inside for the winter. I have my Meyer Lemon and other citrus that are in ground for few years now in an unheated greenhouse against my house.
