Worst of KZbin on display here. 1) manufacturer leaves no further no link or further info pointers. 2) subsequent comments emotionally driven noise. Typical sell the sizzle no common sense marketing here, including lack of monitoring of sweeping negative comments that may have nothing to do with the product value. Agree the installer may have ignored drainage considerations.

Why not? What has gone wrong with yours?

@@stevejones7134 it's awful it's just absolutely awful, all the rain that falls stays there underneath, yes some water will go away the one that's able to go under the angle where the drain is but the rest of the water will stay UNTIL its warm weather to evaporate. And until it's getting stale and it stinks. Small leaves, branches, dirt, grain and other stuff that gets between the gaps stays there and gathers, maybe some water takes some of it away but a lot will stay. Walking on it is weird, you feel like you're floating on something, it doesn't feel sturdy at all. I don't feel comfortable walking on it or if kids to play on it or that I would place anything heavy, you have to remember that those holders are made of PLASTIC. I understand what they're saying, how many kgs capacity it can handle BUT when you actually have it, use it, you don't feel comfortable about it at all, you're thinking all the time when you're placing something on the middle of the tile (middle has no support, only corners do) can the tile handle it as it has no solid support on the middle. When you place something on a corner the other 3 corner of the tile can lift up etc. I just don't recommend it. I have this installed on my apartment balcony (have no idea who was the "genius" that thought this was a good idea, probably it was cheaper for them then to get a proper tiler) and they used only 1 type! Size of these raisers, let's call them like that. The problem came when they had to place them around the water drain, as the water drain has to be underneath 1 tile, if it's not then you have a problem as the big black circle can cover the drain hole, or make the level uneven, unstable and it needs to exactly in the cross of 4 tiles etc. I just don't recommend it as you'll probably need in the future more work around it, maybe the company that installed it for you won't be working any more, won't be able to find and buy those raiser if you need replacing, or if it moves and they need to come and level it again. It's a headache.

drazen miskovic perhaps it was the contractors fault for not installing it in the right spot with the correct measurement ?
@drazenmiskovic49524 жыл бұрын
@@fadidabban whatever it is I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, it just can't compare to anything that's installed firmly with glue, concrete etc. It's just weird to walk on it and it's not something for everyday living, especially it's not for installing on high places like balconies, you never know when the tile or one of the pedestals will move, crack and you might end up on the other end of the balcony, if yours is made as mine from glass.
