I hung a high velocity fan from the ceiling blowing upwards for the updraft and used a box fan to get the ground level rotation going. It took a while to get the circulation just right but I used two folding tables to direct the wind just right. I also used a fog machine to make the tornado visible. I attached a hose to the end of the fog machine and put a sheet over the hose to help disperse the fog. The vortex (tornado) sucks the fog through the sheet and results in what you see in the video.

@@user-vz9km3xe9t I used a 1000 watt fog machine that I got from Spirit Halloween a few years ago. I like how it uses just 2 fans instead of 5 or more. What kinds of fans were they?
