Eventually the sage of six paths had two sons and each one possessed half of his power. Indra the older brother received the power within his mind. The same power that sage six paths had inherited from his mothers wild side the ten tails. Indra had gained the power that could blossom into the rinnegan, the mental chakra of the ten tails. Ashra had gained physical power that sage of six paths had inherited from the ten tails. Guess you could say they were both two half of the ten tails. However, their power was incomplete. Indra couldn’t develop the rinnegan on his own no matter how strong he became on his own. And the wild physical power that ashra was born with could help access other physical chakra like uzumaki chakra and senju chakra, but he didn’t have enough tailed beast chakra to access six paths sage power. So they would need a bit more of the sages power. So Indra would need a bit of physical chakra that later became senju chakra in order to awaken the rinnegan, he would gain full access to the mental chakra that the ten tails had. And ashra needed to gain Six paths sage mode energy that was already within his father. If he did he would be equal to ten tails physical power. Their personalities symbolized their power. Ashra was hopeful, kind and philosophical. Indra was responsible, strong, and silent. The sage six paths had both of these qualities which makes sense because he had both of they’re powers.

So amazing man, idc what anyone says Hagoromo is such a dope character.. everything about the backstory actually feels so historic and biblical. The manipulation, ideas, symbolism, quotes, the test, everything was just so good.

Ashras had pools of wild chakra that transitioned to the uzumaki clan, the senju clan, and he was born with tailed beast chakra like his father. The tailed beast chakra that was passed on to him didn’t have the exact same portion of his father. He was given the same amount of chakra that was equal to the nine tailed fox, with the quarter amount portions the other tailed beast had. He had 3 chakra natures wind, earth, water and earth. His children inherited different abilities. Two of the three children had senju chakra. Their chakra natures were earth style and water style. They could combine them both to create wood style. They were born with huge amounts of chakra that could sustain life but were mainly used for jutsu. They were also compatible with nature energy like ashra. And they had the talent for knowing how to utilize their chakra so the senju clan became famous in the great wars 1,2 and 3. And the other child inherited physical chakra that sealed tailed beast energy as well as being able to become the 9 tails fox jinjuriki. This was possible because ashra possessed tailed beast energy. They also had wind chakra nature and were compatible with nature energy. This child became the founder of the uzumaki clan. They could seal away huge amounts of chakra and anything below that. Because of their huge pools of chakra they can live for long periods of time, control other chakra, and could have almost endless amounts of stamina. Another way of recognizing a uzumaki clan is their unique red hair.

I think he has 5 chakra nature because he could summon shinsu senju, do you remember when third hokage vs shinsu senju's yamato

Naruto and sasuke are ashras and Indra perfect reincarnations. Naruto has the same non talent for learning jutsu that ashra does. Which is common for uzumaki clan members. They weren’t good at jutsu so they weren’t drawn to conflict like the great wars. Black zetsu did say there have been many ashra reincarnations in the senju clan. Because of the senju clan talent for jutsu they drown into battle so they’re was always conflict with any opponent they interacted. But maybe because this time ashra was reincarnated into an uzamki memember they’re will be a different conclusion. Also i think ashra personality was like merge of Naruto and hashirama. And indra was like a combination of both sasuke and madara.
