Indeed. Love that triple termi in the warmth of a daemonic shield. Way more tanky than apoc+termi. I see however that Galahad is as sloppy as I remember. Good watch.

I think Galahad had the right idea about flanking top, his excution had just been.. inadequate, to say the least. That and it's just been the wrong build for the threat he faced, those double Tzeentch CSM kept him at bay for far longer than they should have. Really, what he needed are Ogryn and maybe Primaris Psyker, or maybe just a Chimera. Might even need T3, just keep flanking top and keep them busy.

Ogryns against Power Claws Chaos Lord and double Tzeench CSM? That's like the only squad that would justify chaos team build. But Primaris Psyker would indeed do a great work with longer range area attacks and controlling Chaos Lord.

@@zoxin9293 Yeah, run Oryn to the CSM, forcing them to move. Ignore th Chaos Lord, then use the rest of your army to shoot at either of the unit and deal with them one at a time. The same tactic they use by going Chaos Lord and Tzeentch CSM. Without something to tie him up, he will just run after your range blob, make you unable to shoot then actually deal damage by shooting you with the CSM.

To be fair, IG are a high skill race, so tricky to use well unless you are really good with them. Galahad in particular had major issues in this game.

Not really a very balanced match in terms of players, it was pretty obvious who was gonna win 10 seconds into the video simply by the players on each team. Definitely prefer The Tensos faction war matches as he A) doesn’t only send in games in which he wins and B) usually does a pretty decent job making sure the lobby is balanced in terms of player skill, at least in the games he sends to Indrid.

Poor guardsmen had their souls ripped out of their @$$ and shoved down their throats. They had no chance, the southern power defense failures allowed chaos teir three first. Now thats not huge but IG tried to rush teir three super heavies when their armies were whittled away, they never recovered from trying to skip teir two. Maybe some ogryns would have helped, at least soaked up some damage. Chaos could have pushed a lot harder and won the game earlier because the guard were wasteful and too focused on super heavy tanks that didn't pan out.

I'm pretty sure that Ogryns vs double Tzeench CSM from every chaos player wouldn't do well. Maybe Primaris Psyker with longer range area attack and control. Or maybe better Manticore usage on that Shrines and Blastmaster (though we didn't see much of their usage despite one being lvl 2.5, so idk)

This was only going to end one way. Of course if you put lower skilled IG players against higher skilled Chaos players, the Chaos team will win.
