Will the bridge function allow you to use bigger pots or pans or just a griddle?

Just got one installed but the burners aren’t coming on. Stupid question but do we have to have the pan on there first and then it turns on? Power comes on and the timer will but none of the burners

Frigidaire customer service is IMO not what I expected. Had to wait on hold for 8 minutes started to speak with the agent and was disconnected. Redialed and had to wait for another 11 minutes finally got to speak with a lady in the Philippines who could not answer my question. I asked to be transferred to an agent in the US but she refused to transfer the call. So I tried the chat feature and had to wait almost half an hour for an answer which was not an answer because of a mix up or some kind of technical difficulty.
