I had someone send me a clip of Annes delay announcement and I never heard of this delay reason which I belive its a new one "Checking reports for an obstruction on the line." Also Rodger announced "Please mind the step from the platform onto the train" and "Please stand back from the platform edge until the train has come to a complete stop." Plus they added GroupSave tickets and fold buggies and push chairs and also delay repay by a female voice that did announcement for engineering works. Also EMR regional stations could get a mass change in announcemernts as they are no longer announcing strike action by Rachel.

@@jamiehooper5328 Which TOC were these additional Anne recordings for Jamie? Was it SWR? Good that many TOCs are updating their system. ‘Checking reports of an obstruction on the line’ is a standard reason, I’ve heard Ruth say it at Newport but it’s quite rare I guess

The Night Riviera GWR - Great Western Railway 🚃 calls at stations 🚉 in Cornwall to pick up ⬆️ railway 🚃 passengers only because it’s a long distance train 🚊 service that it’s a sleeper service train 🚊 service. It’s also dark in the evening. 👍

The sleeper stops to pick up passengers only at St Erth and the stations to Plymouth, but you can’t leave the train at those stations on the sleeper train from Penzance to London

No offence, most of the announcements are wrong are at the wrong stations. Example, only GWR operate at Penzance, St erth etc, not cross country.

I live in Penzance... I catch the train nearly every day to go to work and not a single time have I seen an XC train or seen one on the timetable.

XC run the 8:20 from aberdeen to Penzance.
