INDUSTRIA 2 is a narrative FPS adventure about a woman stranded in a parallel dimension. Explore, scavenge and fight your way through a mysterious boreal landscape consumed by an ever-hungry artificial intelligence to find a way home.

Now that is an interesting twist I wasn't expecting. That the government from Nora's world would actually follow her into the new universe, getting in conflict with ATLAS as a result. That'll definitely make the conflict a lot more dynamic.

The visuals are just obviously crisp, but the sound design deserves some attention! Love the simplistic analog feeling it provides.

This looks amazing! I already loved the first game a lot but this looks a lot more fleshed out. Also really appreciate the fact you can lean left and right, that is such an underrated movement ability in FPS games

Knowing Industria 1, you probably gonna have like max 10 bullets so you really need to use the enviroment (i liked that, tho some areas became really ass because i only had melee)

Definitely a lesson learnt from the first game 😄 Just know hat this time there are more options with tools and crafting! We're also spending much more time balancing the gameplay and using algorithms to help provide appropriate loot based on your play

I remember seeing somewhere that Industria was conceived as a three part story, I’m wondering if that’s true and how the idea came about for having three parts of a story with 3 different games and how the gameplay would evolve or change between the series?

yeah, the game was always too big to make it in one go and with the team size of 4-8. We never planed how the gameplay would change but it naturally evolved now for the second entry haha!

visually looks awesome! enemies movements look a little janky, and i was hoping the bugs would be a bit more of a threat to them then they were, but looks miles better than the original so far.

Thanks! There's definitely work to me made with the AI still and we'll be improving animation as well. But believe me, even with the current balance the bugs can get pretty crazy in big groups 😂

Industria is generally a good game for me. The first game was very short and not very difficult, it had some shortcomings, there were some points that were skipped, but the story that was compatible with the environment and atmosphere was not bad at all. Now Industria 2 will be released. If it can be a little more meticulous, comprehensive and complete its story without breaking its connection with this game, I think it could be a very good game, I'll wait and see, I'm curious about Industria 2 right now. I added it to my wish list.

looks really cool but i dont see the point of only having two weapons equiped at a time when you can swap them out at any time why not just do a standard 1-5 keys selecting different weapons?

I enjoyed the first game, although the optimization wasn’t great, especially the stutters since it’s an unreal engine game. Take your time optimizing this game.

This looks incredible. I’ve stopped playing anything unless it’s playable in VR, because I’m so spoiled by being IN the game. Industria worked PERFECTLY in VR with UEVR, so I’m hoping this will as well, performance permitting

Probably will be a weird (and likely bullshit) feature to add, but looking at you lighting up your inventory, I wonder how it'd be if enemies actually caught you using it.

Yeah, I was wondering about the “noisy” sound effect of the inventory deploying and packing back up while the enemy is right there. That would be awesome if the sound effect volume was dynamically controlled by whether or not you’ve been spotted by an enemy yet…giving the illusion that your character is sneakier when the situation calls for it

Great... yet another game with deaf and blind enemies. Completey breaks the immersion for me. The visual and aural quality is very high, though... although I'd immediately disable chromatic abhorration.

you can turn chromatic abberation off (its very subtle though), and enemy AI balancing is something that will only be feeling perfect near release, as this is really an iterative process of balancing:)

I hope that there will be an option to turn OFF all those garbage effects like bloom, motion blur, DOF, film grain, etc. Every game will only benefit without such effects.
