I know the ribside caboose weren't actually used much on the Beer Line but they just look "right" on those trains! Great video!

Hi John, This is Cory Mears again. The H10-44 is my absolute FAVORITE switching engine to have ever existed. I love it so much because it has an overhanging cab roof and curves on the front and back of the cab. It looks phenomenal!

Thanks Cory! I’m glad you enjoy this channel! I too have always been a big Fairbanks-Morse fan. I’ll have another set of videos later this year coming out. So stay tuned!

Awesome! My kind of operations! #765 seems to operate really well at slow speeds and I love the engine sounds, especially when it accelerates. Who makes the model and what decoder/speakers do you have in there?

The locomotive is a Walthers Proto. I put a Tsunami2 sound decoder and sugar cube speaker in for sound. I added louvres from Archer Transfers, decaled with Circus City decals, and painted with TruColor paints.

Another really nice Ops video, John! I really love those octagonal crossing towers the MILW had. I have an old Kalmbach book from '68 called "Bridges and Buildings for model railroads" and there's a 2-page article by Gordy Odegard on the "leaning" one that was at 2nd & Commerce on the beer line.
