Man Eminem was hurting on this one. I know he’s angry but you can hear how it still bothers him. If someone doesn’t care, they don’t talk about it or pay it any attention. Eminem looks at his dad as a disgrace and I don’t blame him. But this was cold 🥶

Well he had his mother mail them to where they thought and he, and Debbie said they were returned. Yes later, his father tried to get in touch with him, saying Debbie never would let him, and he didn't want any money, just to talk and get to know him, and Em refused. Always has been a question if Debbie really mailed the letters, if they were really returned or if she refused to let the father see him. If that was really the case, sad and lots of pain caused that didn't have to be caused.

Tbh that second verse speed part is probably my favorite of his fast verses, it’s definitely not his fastest, not even close, but the rhythm is very measured and satisfying, also my favorite part tho is the crazy wordplay, some of my favorite wordplay he’s ever done, not only are they simple doubles about the garden of Eden but they have so much depth to them when paired with the chorus, Adam and Eve sinned and banished themselves from Eden, the equivalent of heaven, and “angels won’t find me” is cool cuz Adam and Eve tried to hide from God right after they sinned, it’s crazy how this sets up the third verse cuz the third verse is where he gets explicit about his dad and his pain so it sort of sets it up nicely that he’s gonna leave his happiness (Eden) and peace, and instead dig up his old wounds and pain, I just love the rhythm of this fast verse and how deep and powerful the doubles are

When I first listened to MTMB this song stood out soo much for me, not because of any relationship I had with my parents but there's soo much emotion in this one. And Skyler gives me goose bumps every time I hear the chorus.

For your headset dying, I use JBLs, one charge will make them last 28 or 32 hours, and if they’re completely dead just plug in the aux and plug em into your mic, they’re amazing for music, gaming or really anything

You need to do Tragic Endings from Revival bro, Skylar Grey is on that too. Can relate to that track so much from a past experience.

This song always hits for me, absentee father was in and out of my life for the first 7 or 8 years, then I didn't speak to him until my 18th birthday when he called to ask my mum if that meant that he didn't have to pay child support any more, 8 years later I saw him again, all it took was his dad's funeral. Introducing me to people as his son, like he was proud of me, like he had any input into who I am, all the whole I'm just thinking how disgustingly disrespectful he is that he's wearing a leather jacket and jeans to his own dad's funeral. Gives me his contact details afterwards as if it's my responsibility to reach out to him.

His dad published an open letter basically blaming everyone else for his absence. He was the victim and tried really hard to find them for like 2 weeks then moved on. He even had pictures of him with baby Em. As it should, it made Em livid and probably put the final nail in the coffin of that relationship. Dad was never there and then tried to use him for clout and sympathy. The letter is still online. If Em needs to dig him up, I’m willing to help with the shovel. That’s some BS.
