The state has nearly the highest gas taxes supposedly for road work, the lottery was suppose to also be for roads, the last 5 years or so the roads in Marion County have been neglected terribly and the worst I have seen anywhere. The bottle neck at Emerson Avenue south of Southport Road to Countyline road should have been 4 lanes 20 years ago because of the expansion of the area and is a nightmare to navigate. Everything is backwords in Indy, development happens, housing additions, hospitals built, restaurants and buisnesses come but the roads take decades to be upgraded. If you look at what Carmel did, they built the roads, moved the utilities planning for growth way ahead of development.

@@capoantrax3982 What police? rarely if ever see police doing traffic stops, What racism? It is a great state to live, the Democrat policies in the larger municipalities such as Indy coddle the criminal, epidimic of record murders year after year. You never see the violence and murders outside of the cities, cultural issues, poor parenting.

Nice story. We’ve got ramp metering in Chicagoland. Doesn’t seem to do anything from the naked eye. Even more traffic here though
