The track is still there. I think Arca races there But the city complained about the noise and ownership of track was inept. I was at this race, it was pathetically hard to spend money

Yea local races and Arca. It’s a great track that’s unfortunately placed in the middle of West Allis with homes on the back straight.

It left because track was poorly managed and the city complained about the noise. Pathetic, but I doubt anything has changed. Shame because it is a great track, you can see everything from the stands. I was at this one!

@@Rearmostbean poorly managed due to the Wisconsin State Fair board...I feel they don't understand the meaning of this great facility...hasn't been lack of promoters that try...its the State fair board. I may be shooting myself in the foot on this, but it is a great facility that provides GREAT racing and some people don't see it that way. Many of us in the area knew the track is there...when you move in knowing something is there you know what to expect...From what I understand the issue was the night races...Great idea absolutely...however the fun part became from what I understand when the city of West Allis had a meeting on it minimal people showed up and those people were not even close to the track (meaning they weren't even within blocks of the track) I worked as a track observer at the Legendary Milwaukee Mile and truly miss the racing at the Milwaukee Mile!!!I'm hoping that Mr. Sargent. Can bring us back to what we once were. Indycar wants to find more facilities...I'm truly hoping the Milwaukee Mile becomes one of them!!!! We just need to remind the Wisconsin State Fair Board of what a great facility we have. Thankfully the SCCA has been using the road course which in turn kinda keeps the facility running as the longest running track since 1903 even though it may not be the oval portion...

I can kind of agree...but the cost of tickets got a little out of hand...as well as the State potentially driving the cost of the tickets up to make it profitable for the series as well as the state...at one point in time those stands as well as the infield were packed beyond belief for this race...
