@@williammaurice7206 While it's true that smoking rates are lower since the Master Settlement Agreement, those rates were already declining by the 1980s. I remember watching races as a kid in the 90s, and despite seeing Marlboro, Winston, and Player's everywhere, I was never tempted to smoke. I probably didn't even know or care what those names meant!

Interesting to watch the "pit in laps" of Sullivan & Fittipaldi. @ 33:40, Sullivan has a reported 7 sec lead with 13 laps complete. @ 34:11 Sulivan's "pit in" lap is hampered by Foyt (making his Road America debut at age 53!) In contrast watch Emmo's "pit in" lap at 36:11, from which he emerges leading the race.
