Wife and I literally applied the opportunity cost rule when we made the decision to live closer to my job even though it is more expensive (rent). We considered; wear and tear on the vehicle, cost of gas, quality of life.

This happens all the time. Time and opportunity is also wasted within the administrative spectrum of security companies. When one department continuously fails to check and balance their department, another manager from another department is called to ‘assist’ to ‘help’ when in actuality they are managing and doing another manager’s job.

Dragging down the efficiency of the entire company. The sad part is that will go on and on because the job is getting done despite the ineptitude of the failing department...and if the department that is "assisting" complains, then they "aren't team players". Tough spot!
