Don’t know who needs to hear this but one of the main reasons why folks, particularly research/data analysts, have their EE profile found to be ineligible is that their work experience’s NOC is different than the “primary occupations’s” NOC! And i say this happens to Research Analysts in particular is there are several NOCs that fit their duties incl “database administrators” and “software engineers”, etc

Thank you for the video. It is extensive and quite informative. I have a question about the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program - Express Entry Stream, which is a PNP of Alberta. When I calculate my CRS Score, it comes out to 326. However, I don't have 67 points for the Federal Skilled Worker Program and hence I was found to be ineligible for Express Entry. Still, the system let's me create a profile and submit it. Can I apply through this PNP?

In my experience this is not needed, if ineligible you do not have a profile, so nothing is needed to be done.

You’ll need to create a new profile with the updated proof of funds. This way you will have a new valid profile.

Hello, my profile is still coming out as Ineligible even after meeting all the requirements. One thing I am not sure of is if I have to have at least 1 year in the same company doing the same job. So I have 10 months in one company, 3 months in another and 6 months in another. Could this be the issue?

Thanks Jade, so before submitting a profile it's mandatory to have an education assessment in order to meet up the minimum points, and avoid non-scoring of your other filled details such as age, language, etc, right?

Hello We created EXPRESS Entry profile, Got ITA. we were given 2 months to send the application after ITA. We completed the Profile after receiving ITA and sent the application money and we received message our application is submitted and now to just wait for their reply. Hi please help we noticed our consultant just now that they closed their office due to Covid-19 and our application is in dire situation. We've received our express entry profile on July 06, 2020 that were eligible but since our consultant ran away and not responsive anymore. Hi Kristian, if your profile is in the consultant's, account, you will need to ask for access. If they will not provide access, you can ask them to delete the profile and create your own account and profile. Good luck!

Hi, thanks so much for this video. So i opened the profile and immediately got response immediately that i wasnt eligible even with a PhD in engineering and IELTS of 7.5s. I actually tried to delete the profile but i couldnt find the yellow bar as indicated in the link you offered. I want to wait for 48 hours and see if there will be a change and if not hopefully the yellow bar would have appeared. This is what I did. I deleted my GC key and waited for 3-4 days before creating a new one. I found out that I was putting the wrong number of years for my education. It should have been 4, while I was entering 16 for my bachelors ( I was calculating all years of my education, and not just of the degree). It’s minor errors like this that make the application ineligible. Just be careful while filling it out.

Hi Imtiaz. Generally, there shouldn't be an issue with changing your NOC code. With my clients, I often find that a different NOC code is suitable for them (once I receive more information about their actual work experience. You just need to remember to change your primary occupation under the federal skilled worker class to reflect the NOC code change. Best of luck!

Hi Jade, I submitted my profile and still got a "ineligible" reply. My IELTS overall score is 7.5 and I have a Master's degree in Architecture. In the last part you mentioned that you need to have minimum 1 year experience in the NOC code field you are applying for. In my case I have 8 months experience in Architecture and 3 years in Interior Design do you think that could be a reason for rejection ?

Hi Jade I have answered all the questionnaire for the eligible profile for express entry. But when I actually submit my profile to the pool not long from there, there’s always a message that says I am not eligible and they didn’t even gave me a score on my profile. Hello Inder. An Educational Credential Assessment is a report by an independent company that evaluates your foreign education. For Express Entry, this report is used to make sure that your foreign degree, diploma, certificate (or other proof of your credential) is valid and equal to a Canadian one. So, for Express Entry, IRCC will accept ECA reports for 5 years from the date they were issued.
