I have yet to check the telemetry, but generally speaking Britannia have the fastest boat and Alinghi the slowest. So, when the British tame the boat and sail properly, such gaps are to be expected.

@@mtb5778Agreed - and seeing a foredeck crew doing their stuff like well drilled F1 pit stop teams. Watching the heads of four guys frantically pedalling out of view loses much of the spectacle of yacht racing.
