Joel & Avram remain as co-chairs for now. That means they chair AGMs etc, represent shareholders at AGMs etc, and make sure the company is complying with all the regulatory stuff that we have to as a PLC. They're not really involved in the day to day running of the club or any football decisions. When SJR gets his majority Joel & Avram will no longer be chairmen.

One of the key reasons why United have made so many transfer mistakes that continue to hamper the manager's we've had - Casemiro, Anthony etc - is that we are so reluctant and slow to do make deals happen and take a chance when there is an opportunity. When we eventually do go in for a player we don't have the leverage to negotiate so we end up paying double the fee, triple the wages, we never get a good fee for our players either because we try to please the player who's going (trying to make them happy so they don't call us out like Ronaldo did). I've seen other KZbin creators making the same mistakes about this "new project" as they did when Woodward and Murtough announced a "new way of doing things" when they told us they were working to a "long term plan" and that we had adopted a policy of "no more arseholes". There should be no benefit of the doubt here. Failure needs to be called out. There was no full sale so there can be no clean slate for INEOS. They're held to the same standards and they don't get to lower our standards because they are focusing on the finances, they want the fans to pay more so they have to fix the issues not just say it's very difficult because it's the same line coming out of the club for 15 years. We need proper owners who know what they're doing.

I appreciate the point about them wanting to use the club as a business instead of a vanity project, with all successful clubs you have to lure players in the Chelsea model has worked, we had the allure like a Real Madrid but now the club has fallen too low to get top quality players, they need to spend which they won’t, they want to make a profit which they will use to basically fund their own pockets the infrastructure is depleted, the fans pay for this abuse by these owners who care nothing about the team, it feels that sir Jim scammed the fans I wasn’t into his brand like some but he used a term which grabbed unwarranted fealty which he hasn’t proved to deserve.
