The poetic phrase "on display for no one to see" really struck me, Brett... a line that touches on a deep truth for all of us. We yearn at some level to be noticed and make a difference; our skills and contributions recognized. But in reality many of the world's most brilliant minds, greatest artisans, richest storytellers, and most talented musicians have (and will continue to be) on display for no one to see. This is an unfair tragedy of the broken world we find ourselves in. However, God ALWAYS sees... and He will always love us as we continue to pour out our talents, our creativity, and our vision to any who will notice.

Yes I love that reflection! It's also a reminder to do things for the glory of God and not ourselves. Which can be hard when we want the attention, success, etc. but it ends up being relieving and rewarding when we just do it for God, and whoever is blessed in the process is worth it :) As for our man in the glass cage... not so sure... haha
