It is such a beautiful thing when developers care about performance and quality so much they go out of their way to do something like this.

What if I want to apply intertialization to match a target speed that is not zero? How does the math change? Thanks

Old post, but essentially with inertialization 0 is not actually 0, it's just the starting position of your target. i.e: you should be applying an offset to the target animation that starts at the position the previous animation ended and that over time goes towards zero, thus ending up with the target animation

Nah Gears of War 4 is a lot better in every way and back then everyone hated it but now we wish Gears5 would be only as bad as Gears of War 4
