We were also in Southern France in the summer of '22 and hot is an understaement!!! I do love your videos and do dissagree sometimes but I totally appreciate where you are coming from...we are not all going to like the same stuff. On our trip to Europe this year we stayed in 4 cities for about 3 days eacha dn did day trips from each. We found that most of the places we visited had a similar trolley situation that you described here and they were all called "the little train" . We found these to be inexpensive and a great overvies of each place. We stayed in Paris, Aix en Provence, Nice and Trastevere, Rome. Also we were on the Scarlet lady in Feb 2022 and out of all of the restaurants we were looking least forward to Extra virgin because where we live has an abundance of Italian Restaurants (NYC area) but we were so pleasantly surprised at how good it was! We will be on the Valiant Lady in Jan 2023 and looking forward to this. VV is definately a different kind of cruise but we are foodies and LOVE the food on VV. In comparison you usually cant get that level of food on other cruises without upgrading your food package

Hey Morgan, can you do a quick (?) video about the differences (if any) between the Scarlet Lady and Valiant Lady??? I know you've cruised on both ships (Markus too?). Oh, and does Markus speak English or did you have to translate into Deutsch for him? 🥰

Thanks for this great video! I'm wondering if you went on the Irresistible Med & Rome route. Wondering if it's necessary to book excursions in advance or if you can wait until onboard too book. I don't want to risk them selling out but also want to use onboard credit for these. Also wondering what the price point is for everything approximately. I'm sorry but I haven't done any ship-sponsored excursions on either of my Virgin cruises so I can't really help you with this! I hope you have a great time, though! Virgin is definitely... different!

If I stop at the beach, will I have to pay a different fee to get back to the cruise port ?

We hopped off in the city and got back on, so I can't imagine that you would have to pay again if you hop back on at the beach, as long as you keep your receipt. Make sure you ask the people selling the tickets in the port what the policy is and how you can be sure that you'll be allowed back on. I hope you have a great time!

Virgin would not be for me. Let me explain. Although at age 75 I would love a cruise with no kids or no 24/7 loud music, Virgins idea of adult only is not mine. Being "adult" does not necessarily mean sex oriented as its main theme. I am not a prude by any means but it's not the reason I go on a cruise. Cunard seems too too stuffy. The others too noisy. Any recommendations ?
