*Very nice, Myra❣️💕💜 Lisa sent me over to you from Our Shabby Cottage. 😉 I am glad she did, because I enjoyed your projects - especially the switch plate‼️🥰🤍 I never would have though to use resin moulds on a switch plate - it's BRILLIANT, because NOBODY will have one like the one you create yourself for your own home, LOL❣️❣️❣️🦋🌻🌺 Myra, you are correct in your pronunciation of "haint" in haint blue - just like "paint", but with an "h" instead of a "p". Do you know where haint blue paint originated? It originated in the South. In the 1800's, somebody discovered that this particular soft blue-green (almost white) shade of blue painted on the ceilings of covered porches was an insect deterrent. For some reason, bugs that normally would fly up and collect on outdoor porch ceilings didn't like that color and would steer clear. So, homeowners would have fewer bugs to contend with - AND fewer bug corpses to clean off of their high ceilings, too, LOL!😉👍🏼Many paint companies make a haint blue in their product line, for just that reason. 😊 BTW, I subscribed, Myra...now, to go and watch your 2nd video❣️😁💕*
