Reading the directions and taking your time installing made for a good job.....looks great!

Thanks for the help! NO instructions with mine. :P How about using some heavy-duty thread, in an appropriate color, at the front corner to pull the side and front together neatly using a hidden fold? Not tight but snug so there's little to no stress on the fabric nor thread. Could also use stick-on Velcro dots to hold it to the seat wherever you wanted. I'd also suggest you sit at each side, preferably with a helper, to be sure that whatever method you employ won't be stressed by the weight and position of a person or big doggy buddy. ;)

These used to be the best seat covers ; bought a few for my trucks back in the 80's and 90's and they lasted a long time. Got one for my Toyota last year from Amazon and it lasted a WEEK until the seams started to come apart ! What a rip off ! They did send me a replacement but I figured that one was probably just as poor quality so I left it in the package and put it on my "Never gonna use" shelf !

This one actually is still going strong, it just seems like every week I have to adjust the straps, which is a pain

@@Paulie_KITT cargo straps are cheap at harbor freight, so are bungy chords. Steel springs are cheap too.

Good video. Same brand I put on my truck for my video. Felt about the same way as you.

I got these for my outlander sport because I miss my grandparents truck, probably gonna need something extra just to keep it snug to the seat

I ended up going to the craft store and getting some nylon backpack straps and buckles. I made an X under the seat to keep the edges snug. Took a little bit of time, but if you're handy with a needle and thread it's quite easy!

You sir did that better than the promo video. I have one on the way from Amazon just like that but mine is blue where yours is black.. it's going to be awesome..

How well has this held up? Is it itchy? Thinking of getting one for my 90 Chevy Pickup.
@Paulie_KITT9 ай бұрын
It's not bad! It's not that itchy, all those "drug rug" covers were itchy back in the day. I've had to reattach 2 of the straps that broke. Material wise, it looks as good as it did the day I installed it!

I may be missing it, but do you have a link for these covers. Thanks.
How well did it hold up after you had gotten in and slid under the wheel a couple dozen times? Looks like too few - and too light - straps to hold it in place. I got a similar one in two pieces a few years ago and it's a piece - well, I'll just say I don't really enjoy it.

I have the same one my only gripe is it won't allow the seat to fold right
@Paulie_KITT3 жыл бұрын
I didn't think about that... my seat only has to lean forward. Is it too tight along the seam?
@ThatOneGuyMatt3 жыл бұрын
@@Paulie_KITT yea. Mines a 1980 f150 . The way that the straps are sewn right in the middle don't allow for really good seat back lean. I'm gonna cyz and reposition the straps for the lower seat to help give it a little better movement.

How did this hold up?
@Paulie_KITT3 жыл бұрын
Really well actually. I added a strap that goes from side to side, but that was only $6 extra in materials. Still under budget, and quite happy!

@@Paulie_KITT thanks! I hate that there isn't a middle option between $40 and hundreds of dollars. Ha
