Three years from now this home as you have it will seem like a disaster! 😂 once you see your resources improving everything around you starts to look horrible. 😂 Ladies before you start to wish for Oma's house, start with a clean and uncluttered home. Detox your home regularly. Throw out, donate share with friends and family often. Get rid of old dingy sheets and towels. It's amazing what a crisp new comforter set and cushions can do for your home. Curtains do not have to be expensive. Even if you have blinds still put up curtains. I notice most Americans don't do that. Curtains add whimsical and beauty to your space. Throw out those old greasy kitchen towels and plastic containers, plates and cups. Nothing adds more elegance than glass. Glass can be very cheap and if they're thrifted they are easily sterilized in a hot soapy water soak then they're shiny as new! Do you notice Oma's house does not have pets? Yup. That helps a great deal! Those horrible bathroom rugs? Lawd have mercy.🤦‍♀️ I'm sorry but no matter how you try if your sofa and bed is old and lumpy it pulls down the entire space. Set up a plan to save as hard as possible and invest in good mattresses, pillows and a sofa. In my late 20s I got to the point where if I had to eat less and buy less clothes and makeup to make my house look good then that was what I was going to do. I was determined. 😂 Thanks for sharing your beautiful home with us Oma. You sure are an inspiration. ❤ I'll definitely be checking out those deals! Happy Thanksgiving!
