Sad world we live in where this TLC cannot be given by their parents. These teachers look like they’re doing an amazing job! Wish I could afford it . iPad will do

In England, parental leave can go up to a year. I’ll be taking that first entire year off to care for my baby.

"Not a single tear drop" cuz they didnt FILMED any teadrop obviouisly cuz that would not fit to their ad. (Btw in such young age is absolutely natural for children to have strong emotional attachment to parents. So when parents leave, those kids cry. Naturaly).

It’s underpaid and the work is super intense. It is rewarding for people who don’t mind that one kid that the parents don’t help who ruins it for the entire class. If you have patience for that, you’re good to go

@@Yellow.Blossom23If everyone who couldn’t stay home with their babies for the first 3 years just stopped having children, we’d have a serious problem with population decline that would have a negative effect on so many aspects of society. Look at Japan and South Korea, for example. Many women/couples there haven’t been having children for decades now because they feel like they aren’t 100% prepared to take care of a child in an “ideal”way, and now those countries have the lowest birth rates in the world, which is causing a shortage of workers and more elderly people (who are too old to work) than people who are young enough to care for those elderly people. When there aren’t enough workers, the economy suffers.

Bet the pay sucks. Would these workers earn a wage that would let them buy a home, pay bills and participate in thier local economies? What about benefits? Paid time off? Sure this looks nice and rosy, but for all we know they may pay slave wages 😒

I didn't work at Primrose, but at a Montessori Preschool, and I made $8.50 an hour. In 2019. I have two masters' degrees. Yeah, the pay sucks for childcare workers. I did love the work, though.

At my last center we got a week paid after one year working there. After 3 years we got 2 weeks. After like 5 we finally got 3 weeks off. Ridiculous

My daughter is in a primrose school - although I can't speak for the pay of the workers, one thing I was happy to hear is the owner said if the school closes for a few days (due to COVID for example) we still need to pay for the week in full. She explained that this is to ensure their teachers and caregivers continue to be paid their wage/salary without interruption. Not sure how it's done at other daycare's but glad to see this one did it this way.

How does your facility handle babies who feed every 2 hours because of their age( according to literature and doctor's recommendations) and how my newborn has been eating. She can only last so long on breastmilk. Your facilities supposedly welcome young babies but, your schedules list a feeding time for toddlers?

I can’t speak on behalf of primrose but from my experience in many nurseries. typically there will be a room “routine” but this is more of a loose guide and is used as a tool for the general flow of the day and to prepare the older bubs for their move up to a toddler room. Educators usually follow a child’s home routine as well as the child’s cue throughout the day. Hope this helped

In the infant rooms they go off of the baby’s schedule same as at home. As they get older the transition them to a toddler schedule

@@laurag8126 I went to the West Fishers location. I was a kid with long brown hair, almost like a bowl cut but not exactly a bowl cut, and I started going at age 3 in late 2011/early 2012 and continued to go until age 5, when I graduated preschool in 2013. My name is Donovan, and I was usually repeating dialogue from cartoons in the back corner by myself.
