I love being an infant teacher. I just became the lead teacher of the infant room at my center and when I first started as an assistant I was super enthusiastic but as time went on I began seeing it as just a job:/ but now I’m on a journey to see my job like I did when I first started. I’m only 18 and there’s a lot of time to still be a teacher and I hate to hear about teachers who hate their job and I don’t want to be like that!

I totally know what you mean.... I agree with most... spit up doesn’t bother me anymore.... I know what you mean with the cries.... I can know who’s crying even if I’m not in my room

Last year I was working in the older infant room with children 6months and older and we were neighborhood to the younger infants 3 months to around 9months. I always could tell when there were a new baby in the neighbor class because of the crying

You are adorable, currently hired as an infant and toddler teacher. I can relate with the diaper changing and the crying!

Please make another video on how being an infant teacher has changed since COVID! I'm considering going into this field but I have no idea what it looks like now. Are babies going all day without cuddles?

Did all your videos go somewhere? I know this was six years ago, but I am being put into a lead position and I’ve never been the lead of an infinite to their classroom. I’ve always been the assistant. Is there any tips or tricks that you can help me. I hope you’re still on KZbin.

Is it "better" working as a toddler teacher or an infant teacher?

Infant teacher. Toddlers are heavier, more tantrums, and plus half potty training half in diapers so it’s inconvenient. I LOVE toddler’s personalities, theyre just really tiring to work with. It’s why at most centers the toddler rooms are understaffed

Some of these I agree with but I DON’T enjoy changing diapers.

For some reason one baby just wont get comfortable with me. Screaming and screaming from the moment shes dropped off until shes picked up. Nothing wrong with her, shes changed and fed and i try to play with her. Nope 😂

Did she ever get adjusted what did you end up doing?

@@mykaluvy she got brought over to the toddler room a little early since we had to close down the baby room. She carried on like before for about a day or two, then gave me cuddles and kisses and played beautifully. I think she just needed more to do and pay attention to to distract herself from the stranger danger and separation anxiety
