Yuri Prime is a direct clone of the true Yuri, where as the Yuri Clone is the clone of a prime clone. This is done to confuse the enemy.

Note about SEALS, at sergeant level of veterancy, they are actually somewhat effective against main battle tanks assuming they can’t be run over, they are far from great, but they do steady damage

FYI Chrono Ivan is a Soviet Unit. If playing as Soviets and you are able to capture a spy or an allied barracks getting these is one of your first priorities. Still Chrono Commandoes were my favorite units, get this inside an enemy base and you can dismantle it in seconds. I sort of wish there was a Tiberium Sun vs Red Alert 2 mod.

I know that you get the Commando if you infiltrate the Soviet tech lab, but I had no idea that there were special Chrono units. And how do you get Yuri Prime in the base game? You get the Chrono Commando by using a Spy in an Allied Battle Lab. You get the Chrono Ivan by using a Spy in a Soviet Battle Lab. You get the Psi Commando by using a Spy in Yuri's Battle Lab. You get the Yuri Prime in Red Alert2 by using a Spy in a soviet Battle Lab while also playing as Soviet.

I've mainly played vanilla RA2 so I was both right and wrong about the PSI Commando, I'm right since you can get him in the vanilla game by doing what I said in my earlier comment. The reason for why I didn't know about the Chrono units, except for the Legionnaire of course, is because I play as the Soviets 80% of the time and Yuri/Epsilon 15% of the time and the Allies 5% of the time (this is a rough estimate, btw), so I haven't played around with spies that much. Thank you for letting me know, though!

Interestingly, as far as I remembered my last playthrough of a skirmish map in Red Alert 2... I happened to unlock Yuri Prime while playing as Allied Forces. Yes, you need a Spy to infiltrate a Soviet Battle Lab and you get a Psi Commando... ...but I think that when you are lucky enough to get a Soviet MCV and build up a Soviet base, you can get Yuri Prime unlocked. I guess that, you just need a Soviet Barracks ready when you have the Spy infiltrate a Soviet Battle Lab. It doesn't necessarily have to be that your primary army is the Soviet Union. You can do this as the Allies; just be lucky enough to take hold of a Soviet MCV or base.

Chrono ivan can make enemy buildings disappear if you can take down defences. He takes time to eliminate the building. Therefore while he is taking down a building he will get killed very easily.

The appropriately name Apocalypse Tank is war in a cann. It can withstand any ground or air units due to it's very strong armour. It is expected to be the last unit standing.

The best infantry to pick out from each factions is : Sniper, yuri clone, cosmonaut -Sniper : early game harrassment, if you get him in a IFV and have good micro skill, he is pretty much broken, and he counter all infantry in every factions -yuri clone : BEST DISABLE IN THE GAME, LITERALLY ONE SHOT EVERYTHING (but still counter by the sniper and robo tank), if your main mind controlled unit got killed, he will instantly shift to the next target -cosmonaunt : flying advantage, cannot be countered by the sniper, and cannot be mind controlled, laser deal decent damage (If you ask me why the sniper is so good while he doesn't have the ability to counter tank units is because most of the tank units in the game is pretty much useless against infantry, just try to get the grizzly tank to shoot someone, it took about 10 shot )

I havent played this game for more than 15 years.. really missed it and ts/tsf. But theres something that bogs me. I remembered there was a unit that u could acquire using a spy, a stolen tech unit in other words. Well, I cant seem to recall the name but it was something like cyborg. It shoots plasma balls like a cyborg commando in ts. The only difference is its a reddish flame ball and on a vet one it'll be upgraded into a very powerfull blue colored one. Oh, the projectile also makes an explosion effect like an apocalypse tank when it hits the target. Does anybody know what im talking about?

@@tg.Sacred I still remember vividly testing that special unit in a map that got the cloning vet like building that you need to capture first. Trying to rank up all those units to try and make an army of super soldiers. But it ended up in a disaster because they were to op... their attacks also have a splash effect. So everytime a horde of enemy attacks that includes some agile units and manage to get close enough to those sup soldiers.. there will be a nasty friendly fire.. man all those time it took to rank them up.. but it was reallly fun haha

Another characteristic that I could remember was either factions, soviet or allied could get this unit. The only difference was the skin colour. If im not mistaken, if u chose allied and infiltrated the soviets, ull get a black/grey + red and if its vice versa it should be metallic/white + blue.. I cant remember which building u should target to acquire it. or does need a specific steps.. wait, can a spy target a barracks?

Just wait. I played yuri's revenge and as far as I remember yuri's initiate have more short attack range even compared to conscript in the building.

This was questionable so I neglected any stats I found and checked myself in-game. They all had the same range.

@@tg.Sacred still have my doubt. I played the romanov rescue mission and forced rush conscript to garrison buildings in the city. The garrisoned conscript are easily outrange the garrisoned initiate. Just sharing here.

@@danyleon4870 Tested inside bunkers and buildings. They still had the same range for me. Are you sure your conscripts weren't promoted inside the building?

@@tg.Sacred probably a mission mechanic. I remember playing romanov on the run and as far I can remember the conscript I garrison did outrange garrisoned initiate.

In Red Alert 2 Yuri prime is the "secret lab" unit....get a spy into a Soviet battle lab while playing as soviets if I remember right. He is floating above air and can mind control at insanity range but he is like a cat inside and afraid of water.
