is there any thought to making a lego style rack and pinion steering set up might be easier to manufacture being glass fiber reinforced plastic

Thanks for reaching out! Yes, we thought about it but we think the way we design it now is a bit less expensive than a rack and pinion set up.

so an injection molded part is dearer than buying all of those metal parts ? don't get me wrong here i like the engineering part of the design coming from fischer technik back in the day (8 yr old) i understand that but really you would only need 2 fasteners on the rack with two molded parts
