Before you start complaining about Compasses not dropping for you, or calling me a liar, DO THE INFERNAL HORDES QUEST CHAIN, which is NOT the same as the Seasonal Quest Chain. LINK: kzbin.info/www/bejne/iWPRmadjecaGras

Just so everyone knows, if you want these to drop, you have to do the unobvious seasonal quest. It's a white quest to do with Locran. It's not a leaf icon, but if you filter by SEASONAL ONLY quests, it shows up there. It took me until level 90 to figure out why they weren't dropping.

@SharkyMcStevenson3 You have to do the WHITE seasonal quest. It isn't a leaf icon. It's a quest to do with Locran. It isn't obviously, but I just did it and they started dropping immediately.

Yeah I was about to say I have only gotten 2 and they was from rep. I was about to say I have opened like 5 whisper caches with no drops.

I done the Locrans Questline and after that lvl 100 Nightmare dungeon, or lvl 120+ pits have 100 % Drop Rate of the Infernal Compass.

Do you have to be tier 4 for abyssal scrolls? I’m tier 3

im level 100, did like 40 tier 60 nightmare dungeons, boosted hours the helltide but never saw one of them lol

You have to do Locrans questline, just east of Zarbinzet

Thanks for informstion but is it normal that i have seen 2 compasses in 13 hours ? İn a level 100 account?, i did helltides some time and leveled up almost entirely in nightmare dungeons. İ realized i cant craft compasses too? What might be wrong? Edit. Found the reason, its in the coments

It's completely bugged, or they're far more rare than the guy is saying. I have had one drop in nearly 20 hours of playing.

I feel like they are very common both from NM dungeons and Helltides. Besides, the numbers I mentioned are from the last Developer Update livestream.

I haven't found a single one. I've been level 100 for quite some time now. This season is, without question, the most buggy mess I've ever experienced in this game.

I just did 6 nightmare dungeons. I have gotten 0. The only compasses I’ve gotten were from the seasonal missions.

There's a new Rogue XP bug that boosts you 30 levels instantly people are talking about on reddit. You know anything about it? You're usually the first to blow these things up.

@@samj6307 I've seen it but as far as I know people can't replicate it reliably. If I find out anything I'll report. Until then, any new info is appreciated.

I don't know man, what 100% drop are you talking about if I took 20+ whisper chests and got TWO compasses... and NONE from helltide...

50% for reg chests and 100% from higher chests in helltide? There's no way those percentages are accurate

Those numbers are from the latest developer livestream. I find them fairly accurate, for example the Helltide chest I open at 1:30 was the first I opened and it immediately contained 2 Compasses. I'm sure people who say the drop rate is low haven't completed the Infernal Hordes unlock quest and don't get Compasses because of that.

@SliverOfTime I've done practically nothing but helltides and nmd's since finishing the seasonal quest line. Those percents just aren't accurate, or I'd have an entire inventory filled with compasses by now.

i salvaged some tier 3 keys for the infernal horde - after going to t4 i havent seen a single one drop for like 30 levels. -- edit. T3 do the white quest to the right of the waypoint in tve zarbinzet town
