When you were joking around about a billionaire that created a plague to speed up the death of humanity, all I could hear was Sam L. Jackson's voice when this was his exact purpose in Kingsman: The Secret Service.

Eoin O'Connor Technically, technically he wanted to kill off only a large portion of the population in order to stave off the effects of man-made global warming. The people he spared were the authority figures and celebrities he believed would help re-establish world order after his hate plague had run its course.

Good stuff, and congratulations my friend :) My wife and I were married in Istanbul and remain deeply connected to it (though she is Persian, not Turkish). One thing I have to say about those rickety old cabs is that that part's right on! Winding up and down through narrow alleys as you said. Every driver seems perpetually angry at all other drivers for not clearing the road just for them. We were scared stupid by the cab drivers - and yet, they each knew exactly what they were doing and despite the general road craziness, they all had flow, just like the driving in India.

You know Korey said Langdon had no game, well in the book of Angeles and Demons (predating The Da Vinci Code), he did sleep and had a six month thing with Vittoria Storaro, the lead played by Ayelet Zurer.

I actually thought this was really good. It was refreshing the way that each character was handled and somewhat fleshed out, especially the "villains". It could have been so cliché, but I feel like they tried to do something different. I really appreciated that. I feel like a lot of the complaints for this movie were very easily explained, such as the weird flashbacks, or were exaggerated.

All i want to know about this sequel is what is it with Tom Hank's always having a brunette sidekick?

Dudes, my Dad isn't black, but if he was in this movie, he'd be cursing at everybody. And probably breaking shit. Then again, we're not WASPY white, either, we're Italian, so, there's that. ;)
@julyol1197 жыл бұрын
The movie didn't make any sense, because they cut out the main plot. In the book the flashbacks totally made sense. But they took away the motivation for everything away. Book based movies always cut the non essential stuff, but here they cut the essential stuff instead. So nothing really makes sense anymore. Like, wtf Hollywood? Why even base the movie on the book, if you really want to make a completely different movie? Really, what the actual f*ck?

This is not the same story as what was in the book. The book is worth reading, the movie is basically garbage, especially for dismissing a highly controversial yet evoking end plot that's meant to get a reader thinking about an extremely controversial issue - one that hopefully I never have to care about and face within my lifetime, as for you future generations, lol, 😊 - in exchange for something standard and mediocre at best. But then again, with how uneducated people are and how easy it is to offend them and get them to blow a gasket and throw a hissy fit these days... 🤷♂
