Thanks - weirdly as a huge ARPG fan I'd been following Infernum for a few years, probably just from browsing the ARPG store tag and not looking too closely at the time. Steam needs to be taking these things down - even a handful of sales for this thing is criminal frankly

what they did is disgusting. unfortunately ive bought the game back when it just became available. 3+ years with nothing to show for it damn bro... i cant believe this game is still being sold

Well that didn't take long. The developer banned me permanently from the Infernam Community pages and removed my review as well as post. It took them less than a day to respond to that but they have not updated their game in years. Yikes!!!! I guess that answers the question whether or not this is a scam!

These kind of “devs” are so salty when they get called out, especially if they put up “tech demos”. Also, if you have a list with games you are checking out, can you add “Egress” to that list? I bought that game in 2018, and followed it even before it came out. What bothers me is that its pvp only, but the servers are offline, and you can only fight against 2 other bots, not worth 12€. Its too bad, the game was fun to play, and the devs tried to give incentives to the players for playing, by organising tournaments and giving out steam gift codes to the winners. Ive been on the discord too, which is split in two, for russian speakers and for english speakers, there is no activity at all on there, except for people posting jokes, and some bots spamming. And I think the russian government give out grants to developers to compete with europeans, americans etc in the game industry. Im pretty sure that this company went under, and if so, who is getting the money? There are people still buying it, and then probably refunding it, but it has to be tied to a bank account, and when you close down a company youre supposed to close down its bank account too. There is another russian-developed game(i live finding these) called “vladik”, its 5€ euros and its a buggy jankfest. Its been in early access since march 2019 and there have not been any updates since. The dev is realeasing “vladik brutale” in 2021, which is a sequel i guess. Anyway, thanks for your work as always!

@@Sinner987 Hey awesome thanks for sharing that info! I will checkout Egress and Vladik! An interesting tidbit is that there are a significant amount of abandoned games that are based out of Eastern Euro and Russia compared to NA/SA from what I have found. It would be interesting to know what the exact correlation is. Thanks again!
