Infertile Gorilla Shocks Zookeepers With Surprise Delivery of Baby

Check out this precious moment between a mom and her newborn baby. It was a great day for this gorilla who gave birth for the first time at the Prague Zoo in the Czech Republic. Experts didn't know 25-year-old Shinda was pregnant so it was quite the surprise for staff. More than a decade ago, it was determined Shinda couldn't have kids making this unexpected little one was a true miracle for mom. Even dad joined in the celebration. #InsideEdition

I am a fertility primate specialist. And i can tell u that other than human (sometimes), theres no stronger bond then between a Gorilla mom and her baby. They spend 100% of the Time with each other and a Gorilla mother Who lost her baby often let herself Die. They have a complex emotionnal system and have their own facial langages. Their communication skills, between mom and baby Seem even more profond sjnce they dont use words. They dont talk... They feel... We have a lot to learn from their relationships.

Not all pregnancies have obvious symptoms. They thought she was infertile so why check for a baby there was probably no indication was there? A human's natural habitat is similar to a gorilla but we'd consider forcing a child to live like that abuse. Just because they can't manufacture a blanket doesn't mean they wouldn't prefer one. I can't manufacture one either.
