We want to share our good news to the public but also bring awareness about Infertility. In this day and age it is still considered a taboo. Hence, we want to be able to inform people that it is a real and common struggle that people/couples go through.
1 in 8 couples (or 12% of married women) have trouble getting pregnant or sustaining a pregnancy. (2006-2010 National Survey of Family Growth, CDC)
ARCUATE UTERUS is a mildly variant shape of the uterus. It is technically one of the Müllerian duct anomalies, but is often classified as a normal variant. It is the uterine anomaly that is least commonly associated with reproductive failure. Arcuate uterus can be characterized with ultrasound or MRI.
POLYCYSTIC OVARY SYNDROME (PCOS) is a hormonal disorder common among women of reproductive age. Women with PCOS may have infrequent or prolonged menstrual periods or excess male hormone (androgen) levels. The ovaries may develop numerous small collections of fluid (follicles) and fail to regularly release eggs.
ANOVULATION is the lack or absence of ovulation (the release of an egg). It is a common cause of infertility. Anovulation is often the result of an imbalance of the hormones that cause a woman to ovulate and may be part of the condition polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).
INTRAUTERINE INSEMINATION (IUI) is a fertility treatment that involves placing sperm inside a woman's uterus to facilitate fertilization. The goal of IUI is to increase the number of sperm that reach the fallopian tubes and subsequently increase the chance of fertilization.

We've been trying for 15 months, I got diagnosed with PCOS 11 months ago. I've been seeing a reproductive endocrinologist and doing medicated cycles, but I never get pregnant. Thank you for making this video. So many of the ttc with pcos stories are skinny women who don't understand the stigma of fatphobia on top of the stigma of infertility. What are ur meds and vitamins?? Im not alao reacting to clomid thats why my doctor suggested that on my next cycle i have to use injection instead. Im scared but seeing ur video give me strength

I did MENOPUR injections everyday then progesteron suppository days after the IUI until the 12th week of my pregnancy. In terms of vitamins, I took the prenatal vitamins (with iron), also drank 1 cup of green tea daily. I'm happy this inspires you. Hoping for the best! Baby dust to you. Btw, I gave birth last week and my birth vlog is up now if you need more hope and inspiration. Take care!

Congratulations to you both! May I asked if the fertility clinic that you went has a BMI limit? Because we went to some and they told my wife that she will have to loose some weight first before iui.

Hi! I've heard that some clinics require a good BMI or there's a suggested BMI requirement. But our clinic/hospital where we did the treatment did not have any BMI requirements. Neither did the place where we were considering to do the IVF. Hope all goes well with you and your wife!
